Genshin Impact ‘Altar of Mirages’ domain unlock guide

With a bit more clearance from ‘Golden Slumber,’ you’ll be able to open a door to this domain

Genshin Impact’s 3.1 Sumeru update added many hidden domains, including the “Altar of Mirages.” Just like the other domains in the desert, you won’t have access to it right away.

Our Genshin Impact “Altar of Mirages” domain unlock guide explains how to unlock and find the new domain.

Before you get started looking for the “Altar of Mirages,” you need to fully complete the “Golden Slumber” world quest line. (If you’ve been using our guides, I am sorry for saying this so many times, but it’s true. You need this quest. I’m sorry.)

You can start the quest by talking to the NPC Bonifaz in Aaru Village, whose precise location is pinpointed below.

Once you complete the world quest, you’ll just need to teleport back to the large underground chamber, which you’ll also unlock as part of the quest. From there, enter the northern doorway below.

Head straight through here. You should have enough clearance on your Scarlet Stone Slate to open the door on the other end of the hall. (When you first were in this hall, you didn’t have enough clearance to open this door.) Once you open the door, you’ll be greeted with a giant pit and a Dendroculus. Grab the Dendroculus and drop down the pit to get to the domain.

As with the other single-clear domains, “Altar of Mirages” rewards Primogems, Dendro Sigils, and other upgrade material for completing it.
