Genshin Impact’s patch 3.4 added an expanded part of Sumeru’s desert, including two new domains. The “City of the Deceased” domain is a one-time dungeon to clear for the usual rewards, including Primogems and Dendro Sigils.

The domain is underground, but it doesn’t require you to clear any world quests or solve any particularly hard puzzles to unlock. You can access it by going into this cavern, which we’ve marked the entrance of below:

Once you travel under, you’ll notice the domain tucked into the ground with a locked square mechanism next to it. Light up the nearby four torches with Pyro abilities to unlock the mechanism. Interact with it to cause the domain to sprout out of the ground.

After opening the doors to the domain for the first time, you’ll be able to teleport to it freely whenever you want.

Continue along in the cave to get to more puzzles, enemies, and treasure chests for even more loot.
