God of War is a long journey. There is a never-ending string of obstacles and detours that keep you from fulfilling your wife’s final wish, but you made some new friends and grew as a person. And it’s time to bring your journey (and your Journey) to an end.
This should go without saying, but there are spoilers below.
Also, before we begin, a quick note: There’s nothing to pick up in Jotunheim. There are no chests. There aren’t even any enemies. There are barely any turns. You’ve already done all the hard work, and this is your victory lap. You’ve earned this.

When you’re ready — and you’ve caught your breath after your fight with Baldur during “Jotunheim in Reach” — head back to Tyr’s Temple and into the Realm Travel room. Fire up the Bifrost and select the tower for Jotunheim.
Find Jotunheim’s highest peak
There’s a trick to finding the highest peak: walk up the stairs. That’s it. There are no turns or anything, so just keep climbing.
At the top, you’ll enter a temple. Have the boy check out the statues and inscriptions. At the end of the statue-lined walkway, turn left and go up the stairs.
Head through the crack in the wall — there’s a pretty interesting cutscene that plays out here.
On the other side of the wall, climb the ledges and keep following the (only) path. You’ll soon come to the peak and the conclusion of your journey.
After you’re done, walk back down and watch the credits. When you rejoin Mimir, you’re free to explore the realms. You can try to tackle Muspelheim or Niflheim, throw your axe into every one of Odin’s Ravens, collect every artifact, or defeat all the Valkyries.
For an added bonus, head back to the Wildwoods and take a nap in your bed.
