God of War guide: Alfheim Tower walkthrough and collectibles

In God of War, once you’re free to explore all there is to offer on the Lake of Nine, you’ll likely head to the various towers and landmarks shrouded in the mist throughout the body of water. Each of these has various items, enemies and more to explore. We’ll breakdown what you can find at one of these such locations, Alfheim Tower, located northeast of Tyr’s Temple.

When you make your way to the top of the tower’s platform, you’ll find several things there. First you’ll notice a Mystic Gateway which you can use to travel back to Brok at Tyr’s Temple. There’s also a Abandon Ship piece on a corpse along the wall and some Muspelheim text on two braziers.

Lastly, if you’re able to fend off the attacks of level four enemies, you can activate the Realm Tear to face off against some powerful foes.

Once the water level drops, you’ll use Alfheim Tower as landmark to find a hidden beach that will help you get the Flight of Fafnir favor quest started. The hidden beach is between the tower and the Njord’s Oarsmen.
