In this God of War Time Heals All Favor guide, we’ll walk you through every step of the “Time Heals All” side quest, including all of the prerequisites you’ll need to complete before starting.

At the very end of the “Family Business” Favor, you run across a lore item in the Northri Stronghold that prompts Atreus to suggest revisiting the spirit you met all the way back in Fafnir’s Storeroom. This piece of lore is the final part of the story of a pirate and his son’s tumultuous relationship.

To gain access to the Family Business favor, you have first completed Sindri’s first quest, “Fafnir’s Hoard,” as well as the “The Sickness” Journey. Upon doing so, Sindri will give you a Northri Entry Stone and request that you grab a much needed whetstone at the Northri Stronghold. To get to the stronghold, paddle your boat through the Lake of Nine to the Northri Gorge, which is just west of the of the Light Elf Outpost.

After retrieving the whetstone from a raider ship throughout the course of this Favor, you’ll run across a gate detailed in the “Returning to Sindri” section in the Family Business guide. Beyond the gate is a scroll laying in the center of a corridor. Upon picking up the scroll, a favor gets added to your Wayward Spirits tab called “Time Heals All.” To complete it, head back to Fafnir’s Storeroom.

Once you’re back in Fafnir’s Storeroom, make your way to the main hub in the storeroom and proceed to the final room where the spirit is still waiting.

As you approach the spirit, he’ll awaken and start reprimanding you for bugging him again. Once you talk to him, Atreus will recall what he learned from the scroll found back at the stronghold.

After hearing the fate of his son, the spirit will be at ease and will give you Tyr’s Shard, an enchament that grants you bonus to all of your stats.
