In this Wattam guide, we’ll help you through everything to do in Winter. And before you alert our loved ones, our brains are fine and these sentences make perfect sense in the game.
Winter

Winter is here, and it brought along Snowman and Ice Cream Cone.
Lost Snow
Snowman’s upset that there’s no snow, but you can’t do anything about that yet.
Walk up to Ice Cream Cone and ask Is something wrong with you, too? Ice Cream Cone wants ice cream on its head, but ice cream isn’t a friend you have yet. However, ice cream is shaped like Poop.

Find Mouth and take control. Find some food — one of the sushis works here, or you can take control of a tree, eat someone, and fruit them out. Poop out whoever you eat as Mouth, and then shuttle that friend over to Winter.
Climb on top of Ice Cream Cone.
Open the door
Refrigerator shows up, and opens its door. You don’t have to do anything here.
Pine Cone will also arrive. Take control and plant it in the center of Winter.
Circle Dance in Winter
Circle up a few friends and dance around Pine Cone.
The Secret Stone Statue
Approach the X-shaped stone with anyone, and hit the ? prompt.
Welcome back, Birthday Cake

Birthday Cake arrives at this point, but doesn’t bring anyone along.
The Chocolate Cookie Elevator
Climb up on top of Birthday Cake, and explore the elevator.
A Message from the Future
Follow the path to meet Futuristic Gadget and watch a cutscene.
When you get back up topside, you’ll watch another cutscene.
Truth and Reality
There’s nothing to do for this section. Just watch.
Welcome back, ???

A new vehicle-friend arrives, but it doesn’t get a name yet. You’ll learn that it is Yard, and the house on top is named House.
The House of Sorrows
When you ask What’s wrong? to the house, it’ll ask if you’ve seen its inside buddies.
Your job for the next several tasks is to find the friend that looks roughly like what the house is describing.
House’s Favor (Part 1)
Use the Collection menu to find Fork. Guide it to House.
House’s Favor (Part 2)
Find Octopus Toy, and bring it to House.
House’s Favor (Part 3)
Find Number Three, and bring it to House.
House’s Favor (Part 4)
For this one, you need to zoom out, and bring Table over to House.
House’s Favor (Part 5)
The next inside buddy is Grandpa. He moves very slowly.
The Final Favor
The last inside buddy is Crown.
After you bring Crown to House, you’ll take control of the Mayor. Walk to the door, and use the Master Key Sword.
Operation Mother

For this section, you have to use the vehicle-friends — like Table, Bucket, and Floaty Ducky — to form a circle between (and including) each of the seasons.
Hold hands with them the same way you do with the smaller friends. You need to put three between each season. Their arms are pretty springy, so getting them in place might take a bit of work.

When you link up the last of them, you’ll learn that you’re one friend short.
After the end of the cutscene, you’ll be faced with a choice. All of the options boil down to forgiveness, so go with your heart here.
Move Moon over to the circle of friends, and circle dance.
Welcome back, Mother
Now that Mother has returned, the game is effectively over — you’ve watched the credits and everything. There’s still a couple things to do, though.
People on the Moon
Grab Moon, and move it to one of the seasons. Take control of someone, and climb up to the Moon’s top (north pole) to meet a surprise friend.
Thank You for Playing Wattam
Like he’s suggesting, take the Prince to the top of Summer’s island to meet one more friend.
How to find the last two friends
:no_upscale()/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_asset/file/19527903/Wattam_last_two_friends_2.jpg)
At this point, there’s nothing left to do in the game besides have fun, but if you check your Collection menu, there’s probably still two friends missing. Every other one will have been filled in over the course of the game (or in the after credits scenes).
Those last two friends take a little work (the closest thing to a side mission this game has) to find.

You first met Bowling Pin back in Spring. Visit each season in order — Summer, Autumn, and Winter — to find Bowling Pin again. It’ll be stuck headfirst in the ground in one of the corners. Interact with Bowling Pin to pop it up. It’ll ask you to match its height again (just like you did in Spring).
Find a friend (or two) that stack up to the same size. In Summer, two of the Numbers are about right. In Autumn, use Telephone. In Winter, one of the Ikura Kids is the right size.
Each time Bowling Ball strikes, move to the next season. After Bowling Ball shows up the final time, Bowling Pin and Bowling Ball will make up.
Kaboom them with one of the Mayor family, and they’ll show up in your Collection.
