Genshin Impact is packed with side quests, with many of them involving riddles and puzzles. The Chi of Guyun is a multi-step quest that involves activating statues.

The side quest can be picked up by Yan’er, a hooded NPC. You can find her in the ruins in northern Liyue. The ruins are right next to a Teleport Waypoint that takes you to Bishui Plain. Once you’re in the area, a blue quest marker should appear on your map to lead you to Yan’er.

Most of the quest will navigate you normally on where to go, but several parts will take you to a vague area or provide a riddle telling you what to do. We’ve explained these parts below.

Finding the statues in the ruin

The three stone statues you want to interact with in the first step will all be located under large trees surrounded by bright orange amber rocks nearby.

Once you do this, you’ll have to head to Qingce Village to get more information about the fragments.

Activating the statues in the right order

Head to the fenced area under the Teleport Waypoint right outside of Qingce Village.

You’ll be tasked with interacting with the stone statues in a particular order. If you’re stuck, the order is as shown below:

Activating the statues pointing in the right locations

For the last piece of the relic, you’ll need to climb the highest mountain around Qingce Village.

After arriving, you’ll be tasked with activating certain statues pointing at specific landmarks. You should activate the statues you see below.

After this part, you’ll head back and talk to Granny Ruoxin. You’ll need to find a treasure vault nearby, where you’ll have to take on several Ruin Guards and one Ruin Hunter, so be prepared to fight a lot of enemies before you head in. Once you’re through that mess, the quest should be finished. You’ll get some gems and a key for your trouble.
