In Polygon’s Uncharted 4 guide, we’ll help you find every collectible in every chapter of the game, which is part of the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4.

There are four types of collectibles in Uncharted 4: 109 treasures, 25 journal entries, 23 journal notes, and 36 optional conversations. Treasures, journal entries, and journal notes appear on your screen as a flashing dot, just like you’d be used to from an Uncharted game. Speech bubble prompts over someone’s head tell you about optional conversations.

There’s no map in Uncharted 4, so for each of the collectibles below, we used photo mode to zoom out and give you some context surrounding the treasure locations. Use the images to make sure you’re in the right area and the added arrows to help you find your way.

We’ve organized our Uncharted 4 treasures guide based on chapters, even if chapter names aren’t super easy to find while you’re playing the game. To find them, head to the main menu. When you choose to continue your Story game, you’ll see the chapter number and name. In the same menu, you can make sure you haven’t missed any collectibles in the Chapter Select option.t

A handful of chapters don’t have treasures. So those chapters are (technically) “missing” from the list below, but that’s only because there’s nothing to write about in them.

Chapter 2 “Infernal Place” treasure locations

There are two treasures to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 2 “Infernal Place,” which begins in the prison and follows Nate through the old Spanish prison ruins.

After your journey through the prison, you’ll start heading toward an area with a work bench. As you approach, climb down into the nearby well. At the bottom of the ladder, turn around. The Panamanian Cat Pendant is at the end of the short tunnel there.

[Treasure] Navaja Folding Knife location

A lot of climbing and swinging later, you’ll enter the ruins of the prison tower. As soon as you climb through the window into the tower, look down and to your right. The Navaja Folding Knife is hidden in a pile of rubble next to the patch of sunlight on the floor below you.

Chapter 3 “The Malaysia Job” treasure locations

There are four treasures and two optional conversations to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 3 “The Malaysia Job,” which follows Nate as he scuba dives to recover a semi trailer.

At the start of the chapter, keep swimming straight forward. In a few seconds, you’ll see a fallen tree resting on two rocks on your right. The Antique Padlock is under the log.

[Treasure] Chiriqui Shark Trinket location

As you continue downstream (forward), you’ll come to a log lying diagonally and big stone formation. Swim down and to the left. Follow the tunnel there a little farther downstream to find the Chiriqui Shark Trinket. It’ll be on your right after the first big column of stone you swim past.

[Treasure] Antique Pocketwatch location

Keep swimming downstream until you reach the shipping container. Facing downstream, turn right. Swim toward the rock wall and through the seagrass. You’ll find the Antique Pocketwatch along the wall.

Optional conversation 1 (of 2) location

Once you’re back on the boat, you’ll drop off of the shipping container onto the deck. Turn to your right and talk to the worker near the end of the container to trigger the first conversation.

[Treasure] Antique Arcade Token location

Directly ahead of where you dropped down are some stairs to a raised platform. The Antique Arcade Token is on the shelf on your right at the top of the stairs.

Optional conversation 2 (of 2) location

As soon as you pick up the Antique Arcade Token, turn to your left to trigger the second optional conversation.

Chapter 6 “Once a Thief…” treasure locations

There are nine treasures and three optional conversations to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 6, “Once a Thief…,” which follows Nate and Sam as they infiltrate the Rossi Estate.

At the start of the chapter, you’ll be following Sam and having a conversation. When you reach the end of the valley you’re walking through, you’ll spot the estate on your right. Head to the left instead, and you’ll find the Mughal Water Container at the far left edge of the cliff.

[Treasure] Nephrite Brass Cup location

After a bit of swinging and climbing, you’ll reach a lemon orchard (grove?). Walk straight forward. There’s a peach or tan colored house directly ahead of you over a small rise. The Nephrite Brass Cup is on a windowsill a little your right.

Optional conversation 1

Right after you pick up the Nephrite Brass Cup, turn left and follow Sam. Just a little down the hill, you’ll get the prompt for this conversation when Sam says, “It’s the little things you miss the most.”

Optional conversation 2

At the bottom of the orchardgrove, you’ll duck into a building, and immediately rappel out of it down to some ruins. After a short walk, Sam will kneel along a cliff edge and ask, “Did you at least take any pictures?” and the prompt will appear for the second conversation.

A lot of climbing later, you’ll both take off your coveralls and enter the estate. After the cutscene, turn around and head back into the library you climbed into. The Viking Cloak Clasp is on a desk to the left of the couch where Sully was waiting.

Back inside the party, walk forward and take the first right out onto the balcony. Turn around to your right to find the Mother of Pearl Horn on the ledge to the left of the column.

Optional Conversation 3

After grabbing the Mother of Pearl Horn, head over to Sam along the railing to trigger the third conversation.

Back inside, follow Sully and Sam. After you pickpocket the keycard, you’ll enter the kitchen and see a cutscene. Once you get control again, turn left. Walk straight toward the wall with the pipes. The Persian Bronze Bowl is tucked in the boxes on your right.

[Treasure] Brass Barber’s Bowl location

As you keep following Sam, you’ll pass a room with armed goons and head down some stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, turn around to your right, and the Brass Barber’s Bowl is on some barrels under the stairs you just came down.

[Treasure] Syrian Vase location

After you rearrange the kegs and casks in the cellar, and crawl through the air ducts, you come out into a courtyard. Sam will run into a tunnel on your right. Hop over the railing on your left, and follow the building around the corner. Hop up to the ladder there, and then climb the vertical pipe. Climb to the right along the windowsills back around the corner of the building. Drop onto the roof to find the Syrian Vase.

When you return to Sam, you’ll boost him up to a ladder. At the top of the ladder, take the first left and cross a small bridge. Climb up the cross-shaped brickwork on the doorway you come to. Look a little to the right to see a balcony you can jump to. Hop down to it, and pick up the Persian Candlestick from one of the pillars.

[Treasure] Mughal Dagger location

As you approach the power room, you’ll (attempt to) swing across some poles to a balcony with stairs. After the cutscene, Nate will be under that balcony near some stone pillars. Jump to first pole, and then drop down to another. Swing over to the ledge ahead of you, and then turn left (toward the sea). Drop off the ledge ahead of you. Climb to Nate’s right and up a little along the pillar to find the Mughal Dagger.

Chapter 8 “The Grave of Henry Avery” treasure locations

There are 11 treasures, two journal entries, one journal note, and two optional conversations in Uncharted 4 Chapter 8, “The Grave of Henry Avery,” follows the trio to Scotland and Saint Dismas’ Cathedral.

[Treasure] Redware and Silver Jug Flask location

Right when the chapter starts, drop off the small ledge and start walking forward. The Redware and Silver Jug Flask is behind the large boulder on your left.

[Treasure] Bronze Boar location

From the boulder and the Redware and Silver Jug Flask, face downhill toward the ocean. Head all the way down to the cliff, and follow it to the left. The Bronze Boar is a shallow cave along the left wall.

[Treasure] Carved Wood Kashkul location

A little later, you’ll rappel into a small camp and have a quick shootout. After that, you’ll continue forward to some ruins. Stick to the rightmost edge of the ruins, and follow it out to the cliff’s edge. There’s a large crate there. The Carved Wood Kashkul is just to the right in some bushes.

[Treasure] Carved Nut Bottle location

After a lot of shooting and some dynamiting in the ruins, you’ll use a yellow crate on wheels to climb out. On the roof of the structure you climb out of, look a little downhill to your right. There’s a lot cave with wooden crates blocking the entrance. Dynamite them to find the Carved Nut Bottle inside.

[Treasure] Traveling Inkwell with Seal location

A whole lot of swinging and climbing (and a couple big fights) later, you’ll come to an area with rockslides and ruins. In the second (more dangerous) sliding area, you’ll cut across to the left, and climb some ruined towers. The Traveling Inkwell with Seal is in a small alcove below you at the far side of the rock slide.

[Treasure] Carved Ivory Vanitas location

A little more climbing, some more rock sliding, and a big rope swing later, you’ll land in front of the dormitory doors. Climb up the wall to the left of the door, and head into the room above the doorway. The Carved Ivory Vanitas is at the feet of a statue inside.

Journal entry 1 (of 2)

Through that large gate, you’ll find the graveyard. Head over the low wall to the left to find a pair of excavated graves and this journal entry.

Journal note 1 (of 1)

After you find Avery’s tombstone and head into the crypt, this journal note is in the first room you come to. Look in the far right corner as you come down the stairs.

Optional conversation 1 (of 2)

Continue through the crypt until you find the statues of Jesus, Dismas, and Gestas. Approach the statues to make a non-collectible journal entry. You’ll be able to trigger this conversation with Sam right after.

[Treasure] Scottish Ha’penny location

From the back of that same room, face the statues of Jesus, Dismas, and Gestas. Turn left, and head through the door. Take another left to find the Scottish Ha’penny.

Optional conversation 2 (of 2) and journal entry 2 (of 2)

On the other side of the wall with the three statues, you’ll find a candle and a puzzle. When you align all the light beams, approach Sam while he looks at the door to trigger this conversation. You’ll add the journal entry at the same time.

[Treasure] Slipjoint Clasp Knife location

After your trip into the crypt, you’ll have a big fight with some Shoreline soldiers as you climb through the nearby ruins. At the top, you and Sam will head through another wooden gate. After a radio conversation with Sully, and some climbing, jumping, and swinging, you’ll end up in a area with several natural ledges above the water. There will be more Shoreline soldiers above you. Stick to the left and head into the cave.

Inside, duck into the tunnel on your right, and then follow it to the left. Take another left (at the skeleton with the flintlock) to find the Slipjoint Clasp Knife.

[Treasure] Pewter Singing Bird Box location

Just past that first cave, you’ll have a few Shoreline soldiers to deal with. Once they’re handled look to the right along the cliff face to spot another cave. Jump over, and the Pewter Singing Bird Box will be inside on your left.

[Treasure] Tortoise Shell Snuff Box location

A lot of nerve-wracking climbing and swinging will bring you to a large stone cross (Sam will help you over the lip of the cliff). At the top, turn around to your left, and drop off the edge again. You’ll climb down a set of handholds parallel to where you just climbed up. At the bottom, follow the ledge around to the right. You’ll find a broken ladder. The Tortoise Shell Snuff Box is at the top.

[Treasure] Persian Tailoring Scissors location

Through a tunnel and with a little more climbing, you’ll come to a tall cave above an old pirate ship. Hope across the beams to the wooden stairs. Head up the first flight, and follow the path around to the left. Walk to the right of the second set of stairs to duck under the platform. Turn to the right.

Chapter 9 “Those Who Prove Worthy” treasure locations

There are six treasures, two journal entries, one journal note, and one optional conversation to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 9, “Those Who Prove Worthy,” which follows Nate and Sam through the caverns below Saint Dismas’ Cathedral.

Journal entry 1 (of 2)

As the chapter opens, walk forward to the rightmost hanging skeleton for this journal entry.

[Treasure] Lantern Mounted Flintlock location

From the first room, head out to the right. When you reach the definitely safe bridge, turn left. Follow the path to a small cave and a skeleton with the Lantern Mounted Flintlock.

Journal entry 2 (of 2)

Shortly after the bridge, you’ll come to a bucket puzzle. Once you’ve solve it (by rotating the big wheels to align the crosses and move the bucket to the top), return to the switch by the door for this journal entry.

Optional conversation 1 (of 1)

When you exit the bucket puzzle room, follow the path to the left. At the top of a small rise, Sam will walk to a ledge. Approach him to trigger this conversation.

[Treasure] Strange Pendant location

After you talk to Sam, backtrack a little. There’s a path that branches from this one (on your right going uphill, or left facing downhill). Head to the edge of the cliff here and look to your left for a grappling point below you. Jump off, and throw your rope. While swinging, turn around, and look for a small cave with a skeleton inside. The Strange Pendant is with the skeleton.

[Treasure] Amatory Box location

A couple jumps and swings later, you’ll come to a broken bridge that Sam will comment on. Turn around from the bridge, and walk to the cliff ahead of you. Drop off the edge, and climb down to grab the Amatory Box.

[Treasure] Pewter Box location

After a bunch more climbing, you’ll see a cutscene with Rafe and Nadine in the cathedral (and a mercenary with a righteous mullet). After the cutscene and a little more climbing, you’ll drop into another crypt. Head to the far right corner to find another small room. Duck under the toppled statue to grab the Pewter Box.

[Treasure] Momento Mori Skull Watch location

Once you get out of the crypt, you’ll do some swinging and drop a crate so you can climb over a wall. At the top of the wall, turn right to reach the broken bridge from earlier. From the doorway next to the bridge, drop off the edge and climb down. The Momento Mori Skull Watch is on a ledge below you.

[Treasure] Scottish Tipstaff location

In the next room, you’ll need to rope across a chasm to a crate on your right. The Scottish Tipstaff is behind a basket to the right of that crate.

Journal note 1 (of 1)

Right after you swing out of that room, you’ll crawl through a narrow tunnel. As you descend off the cliffs on the other side, there will be a skeleton leaning against a pillar. You’ll grab the journal note from them.

Chapter 10 “The Twelve Towers” treasure locations

There are 15 treasures, four journal entries, two journal notes, and two optional conversations to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 10 “The Twelve Towers,” which brings our heroes to Madagascar and follows them as they drive toward the volcano.

This chapter also has a unique collectible in the form of 16 rock cairns for you to knock over. Destroying all of them will earn you the “Not a Cairn in the World” Trophy, and we’ve included the location of those, too.

Rock cairn 1 (of 16)

Right as the chapter opens, this cairn is ahead of you, right at the Y-intersection in the road. (From there, it doesn’t matter which path you take, since they reconnect in a minute.)

[Treasure] Sawasa Ware Tobaccco Box location

Keep driving along the road until Sully points out some ruins. Hop out of the not-Jeep and climb the ruined stairs. Cross to the far side of the small plateau and climb up the wall to find the Sawasa Ware Tobacco Box.

Rock Cairn 2 (of 16)

After the Sawasa Ware Tobacco Box ruins, you’ll continue forward along the road. You’ll drop over a large (one-way) rock, and everyone will start a conversation. You’ll see the second cairn down the hill ahead of you.

[Treasure] Eroded Flintlock Pistol location

When you reach the second cairn, you’ll see a river ahead of you. Follow it left (upstream) to the small waterfall with a cave behind it. In the smaller cave off of the first cave, there’s a crate above you on your left. Pull it down with your rope, and move it to the right. The Eroded Flintlock Pistol is on a barrel on the platform above you. (You can also see this treasure’s location in journal note 1 below.)

Just to the left of the Eroded Flintlock Pistol, you’ll find this journal note on a table.

Rock cairn 3 (of 16)

Back in the rental car, follow the river downstream toward the rickety wooden bridge. When you pass under it, look for this cairn along the right side of the river.

Rock cairn 4 (of 16)

From the previous cairn, you’ll head to the right to go uphill and loop around onto the rickety wooden bridge. The next cairn will be on the left just before the bridge.

Rock cairn 5 (of 16)

On the other side of the rickety wooden bridge, this cairn is on an outcropping on the left side of the road.

Rock cairn 6 (of 16)

From there, you’ll head up a muddy hill. Stick to the left side. You’ll come over a rise, and see a stream with a large, ramp-shaped rock on the other side. This cairn is on top of the rock ramp.

Rock cairn 7 (of 16)

Right after that cairn, you’ll keep following the river upstream. After the trio have an argument about the rental’s winch, you’ll take a sharp right turn onto a large, flat rock. The next cairn will be on your right after the turn.

Journal entry 1 (of 4) collectible location

A lot of careful driving later, you’ll reach a ruined tower. Head up the stairs to the main room of the tower. This journal entry is the symbol of the floor.

[Treasure] Mughal Ivory Powder Flask location

After you’ve grabbed journal entry 1, look to your left and climb the beams to the second floor of the tower. The Mughal Ivory Powder Flask is on the crates.

Rock cairn 8 (of 16)

After you winch your way past the first ruined tower, you’ll drive into a new and very scenic area. Just to the right of where you drop in, look for a muddy patch. Follow that mud downhill, and the next cairn will be on your left.

[Treasure] Parchment Scroll location

Just past that cairn (basically the same spot — you can see the rocks from the cairn in our image above), you’ll find some more (small) ruins. The Parchment Scroll is on a crate inside.

Rock cairn 9 (of 16)

From those ruins, keep following the road until you drop off another small (one-way) cliff next to a large puddle. Just past that first puddle, the road will U-turn to the left. This cairn is in the middle of that turn on a rocky outcropping.

[Treasure] Ancient Fertility Idol location

In that same U-turn where you found the rock cairn, look at the top of the turn directly across road from where the cairn was. There’s a small tunnel-cave-thing you can climb into. The Ancient Fertility Idol is inside on the left.

Journal Entry 2 (of 4) collectible location

After grabbing the Ancient Fertility Idol, you’ll continue over another rise and spot the second tower — which is full of Shoreline mercs. Once they’re cleared out, stand near the well(?) in the center of the ruins and face the main tower. You’ll see that it’s been rigged with dynamite. The plunger (trigger) is to your right — you can follow the fuse from the dynamite on the door to find it. Hit the plunger to blow the doors, and head inside to find this journal entry.

Rock cairn 10 (of 16)

After the big fight at the second tower and finding journal entry 2, head across the wooden bridge nearby (the Shoreline reinforcements came across it during the fight). After it breaks, you’ll turn it into a ramp with the perpetually useful winch. Up the hill from there, you’ll drop over another one-way ledge. Follow the road until it turns right. Look uphill, and you’ll see a boulder ahead of you. The next cairn is to the left of that boulder.

[Treasure] Pocket Celestial Map location

Instead of turning right and continuing up the hill past that cairn, keep going straight. Follow the path to the right along the edge of the cliff. There’s another small, ruined building there. Climb up to the second floor for the Pocket Celestial Map.

Rock cairn 11 (of 16)

After grabbing the Pocket Celestial Map, continue uphill and out of that area. You’ll reach another one-way ledge overlooking a large open area (and you’ll spot some Shoreline trucks in the distance). This cairn is directly ahead of you.

[Treasure] English Ale Bottle location

Just as you enter the area (and knock down rock cairn 11), turn left. There’s a short, ruined building behind a baobab tree not too far away. Head over to it, and park near the wall. Use the rental car to climb up to the roof, and then shoot the red barrels to blow open a hole. Drop inside, and make your way through the building to find the English Ale Bottle.

Journal note 2 (of 2) collectible location

Head back to where you entered this area (near rock cairn 11). Facing the watering hole and the volcano, head to the right. Follow the rock wall along until you spot some more ruins. Hop down into the well to find a secret pirate hideout. This journal note is on a corpse off to the right.

[Treasure] Pewter Letter Cylinder location

In the same well (you can see where you grabbed journal note 2 in the bottom left of the image above), look for a wooden pillar directly across from where you entered. When you approach, you’ll see the winch prompt. Head back to the rental and grab the winch cable. Use it to pull down that support and create a bridge for yourself. Climb up into the raised area that allows you to reach to find the Pewter Letter Cylinder.

Rock cairn 12 (of 16)

From the ruined well, look uphill toward the column of smoke. Head uphill on the right side of the outcropping. Take the first left to follow the outcropping around, and then the next right. You’ll drive up a flat rock. At the top, turn left, and head uphill along the bottom of the valley here. The cairn will be a little uphill on your left.

[Treasure] Antique Tea Tin location

From carin 12, look uphill toward the volcano. There’s a path there that cuts over to the left and through a pair of stone markers. Follow it to some ruins and a few Shoreline mercs.

After you’re done with them, look on the uphill (left) side of the ruins for another dynamite-rigged door and another plunger detonator. Blow it open to find the Antique Tea Tin in the back in some rubble.

Rock cairn 13 (of 16)

Head back out of the ruins to where you found cairn 12. Look uphill and start back up. Instead of heading to the ruins again, look for a path that hooks around to the left and up the rocky hill also on your left. Follow that path to the tree, and U-turn around it to the right (the path between the tree and the rock wall is the only way up). Keep heading up as the path hooks back to the left. At the top of this hill, you’ll spot some ruins. This cairn is just to the left.

[Treasure] Mughal Box location

At those same hilltop ruins where you found rock cairn 13, check inside for the Mughal Box.

[Treasure] English Musket Bandolier location

Our next stop is easy to see from the Mughal Box ruins. Look toward the column of smoke. Below them, to the right, you’ll see a tunnel you can drive through. Get back in the rental car and head over there. Through the tunnel, you’ll find some ruins and a handful of Shoreline goons.

Once they’re dealt with, shoot the red barrels near the covered well(?) in the middle of these ruins. Hop down into the room below to find the English Musket Bandolier.

Rock cairn 14 (of 16)

From those ruins, head back to the main valley (either through the tunnel or back the way you came). Head uphill and a little to the right to find the path up to the column of smoke and the tower above you. Toward the top of the hill — at about the same elevation as the tower and smoke — the path will turn right toward some stone markers. This cairn is on the raised ground with weeds right there.

Rock cairn 15 (of 16)

When you pass through those stone markers you saw on the way to cairn 14, follow the path over the one-way ledge and around to the tower. This cairn will be on your left.

Journal entry 3 (of 4) collectible location

While you’re knocking over cairn 15, hop out an approach the tower to get this journal entry.

Optional conversations 1 and 2 (of 2) locations

When Nate’s done drawing journal entry 3, climb up onto the tower’s base. Find Sam and then Sully to trigger these two optional conversations.

[Treasure] Two Pence Coin location

Still at that same tower, climb to the top to find the Two Pence Coin.

Journal entry 4 (of 4) collectible location

Just past that (more or less intact) tower, you’ll come to another tower by a set of ruins and a drawbridge. Climb into that tower to find the final journal entry.

Rock cairn 16 (of 16)

After a big firefight, you’ll finally get the drawbridge lowered. On the other side, you’ll continue uphill toward the final tower (the one Nate pointed out earlier). The final cairn will be right on the edge of the cliff on your right.

[Treasure] Scottish Snuff Mull location

Right after cairn 16, you’ll winch the rental up another muddy hill (and the winch will prove itself worth every penny), and cross another wooden bridge to arrive at Avery’s Tower. You’ll leave the rental car behind and head up the stairs. Turn left at the top (the door to the left is your way in) and look for some crates. The Scottish Snuff Mull is on those crates.

[Treasure] Brass and Ivory Tankard location

In the underground passage, you’ll move a bookcase and blow open a wall, and then open a portcullis. Sam will run ahead. Before you go down the stairs, look to the left. The Brass and Ivory Tankard is behind some wooden crates.

[Treasure] Muff Pistol location

Once you grab the Brass and Ivory Tankard, look for the three wooden crates on the right side of the room. Destroy them with your guns or a grenade to pick up the Muff Pistol.

Chapter 11 “Hidden in Plain Sight” treasure locations

There are five treasures and one optional conversation to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 11, “Hidden in Plain Sight,” which brings Nate and Sully to Edward England’s tower in Madagascar.

[Treasure] Earthenware Mug location

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’ treasures and collectibles locations guide — Earthenware Mug treasure location.

At the start of the chapter, head down the stairs into the market. Head to the left, and take another left to follow the raised parking lot you just came from around. Take the next flight of stairs down, and follow the alley there to the left to find the Earthenware Mug.

[Treasure] “Antique” Compass location

Cross back over to the right side of the market, and head toward the back (in the direction of the tower). The second permanent stall (building?) in the middle of the square has a butcher shop inside. Just before you reach it, on the right, there’s a vendor you can interact with. Keep interacting and haggling until you get the “Antique” Compass.

Optional conversation 1 (of 1)

After you buy the “Antique” Compass, continue through the market toward the tower. As you leave the first square, look on your left for a man with a ring-tailed lemur on his shoulder. Interact with the lemur, and then walk toward Sully. After the lemur comes back, you can trigger this conversation will Sully.

[Treasure] Nephrite and Jade Bowl location

Once you’ve crossed the market(s), you’ll have to climb your way into the tower. Inside the main room, you’ll find Edward England’s symbol on the floor. Look for a room ahead of you and to the left. You’ll find the Nephrite and Jade Bowl near a statue on your right as you walk into that room.

[Treasure] Ivory Handle Dagger location

The next room of the tower will be a climbing puzzle where you have to ring four bells in order. Once you’ve rung all four, you’ll reset the clock, and climb up along the outside of the clock tower. All the way up near the very top (seriously, there’s a lot of climbing), past the main (final) bell, look for a beam above the bell’s support platform. Climb up and cross that beam to find the Ivory Handle Dagger on a small balcony.

[Treasure] Brass Globe Hand Warmer location

After you ring the bell, there will be a whole lot of falling as you return to the first floor of the tower. In the room below the floor, you’ll solve a couple more puzzles (the first by lining up markings on the edges of symbols and the other by just taking photos of some more symbols). You’ll get a phone call from Rafe in a long cutscene. After the cutscene, circle around the room counterclockwise to find the Brass Globe Hand Warmer in some rubble.

Chapter 12 “At Sea” treasure locations

There are 13 treasures, six journal entries, two journal notes and two optional conversations to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 12, “At Sea,” which brings Nate and Sam to a rocky archipelago as they search for Libertalia.

As you weave through the rocks and sandbars at the beginning of the chapter, aim between the two biggest islands. Look for the tall, mountainous island with a small beach on the left. On that beach, head to the left side to find a cross marking a grave. Interact with it to get this journal entry.

From that grave marker, head to the back of the cove where you’ll find a small cave. Inside, grab this journal note from the crates on your left.

Journal note 2 (of 2) collectible location

Head back to your boat. Facing away from the cave/cove, follow the island’s coast around to the right. You’ll see a low, sandy island with a shipwreck on it. Head there. On the beach, look for the small palm tree on your right. You’ll pick up this journal note from the satchel at its base.

Journal entry 2 (of 6) collectible location

From that palm tree, follow the beach to the left and go all the way around the lagoon (or you can go back to the boat and sail around). As you approach the ship’s mast, you’ll get the prompt for this journal entry.

[Treasure] Brass Pocket Sundial location

When you’re done writing, hop into the water and dive under. You’re looking for a room one deck below the top of the ship. You can get in through the side or through a hole near the mast. The Brass Pocket Sundial is buried in some coral there.

[Treasure] Combination Lock Tobacco Box location

Return to your boat and look back at the first, tallest island. Just to the left of the tallest peak, you’ll see another beach. Land there, and then follow the right wall of the cove to the back. You’ll find the Combination Lock Tobacco Box in some smashed crates and barrels.

[Treasure] Persian Leather Notebook Case location

Facing out of that cove back toward the shipwreck, drive your boat around to the right. You’ll see a couple of natural stone arches. Head through the one on the right.

On the other side of the arch, park your boat close to the ledge on your right. Use the roof to hop over, and then climb the handholds on your right. You’ll find the Persian Leather Notebook Case on a ledge at the top.

Journal entry 3 (of 6) collectible location

Keep following the large island’s shore clockwise (to the right) until you come back to main channel between the two islands. You were facing this channel when the chapter started. Land on the island on your left — the one with the pirate-made tower. Climb up to the tower and watch the cutscene (the collectibles are on the other side of the island, so it makes sense to do the story stuff first).

From the tower, head to the beach opposite from where you parked. You can slide down the muddy rock for a quicker trip. At the bottom of the slide, look for a skeleton tied to a post to get this journal entry.

[Treasure] Silver and Wood Tankard location

From that skeleton, turn to the right. There’s a large boulder nearby resting against a pair of tall palm trees. The Silver and Wood Tankard is under that boulder.

[Treasure] Persian Silver Pen Box location

From the skeleton (journal entry 1) and the Silver Wood Tankard, head to the beach to find an arrow marker. From the marker, turn right and follow the beach to a small cave. The Persian Silver Pen Box is inside on the right.

[Treasure] Panamanian Pendant location

Head back to the beach and your boat. Facing the beach, turn left. Follow this island’s shore around to the right.

Watch along the shore for a parking spot-sized beach with a few small palm trees. The Panamanian Pendant is up the beach behind the trees and some rocks.

[Treasure] Deccani Bronze Spouted Bowl location

To continue the story, you’ll follow those chevron (arrow) markers around to the far side of the big island (near the stone arches where you picked up the Persian Leather Notebook Case), and find a cave. Inside, you’ll do some climbing and swinging.

When you enter the courtyard with Avery’s subtle entrance, walk forward until you hit the puddle in the middle. Follow it to the right to find a tunnel that leads up toward the doors. The Deccani Bronze Spouted Bowl is in that tunnel on your right.

[Treasure] Mughal Elephant Carving location

A whole lot of detouring and climbing later, you’ll come to a rope bridge (that immediately breaks). Climb up the half of the bridge you can reach, and turn around toward where Sam disappeared. Head to the right, and jump across to the roof you can reach. Look along the right edge to find a tunnel to step into. The Mughal Elephant Carving is inside.

Optional conversation 1 (of 2) location

When you finish climbing over to Sam and reunite, ignore the path forward clues and follow Sam out onto the rocky point (promotory?). You’ll be able to trigger this optional conversation at the edge. (Step up to the very edge to get Sam to follow you if you’re having trouble getting the prompt.)

[Treasure] Ottoman Helmet location

Even more climbing and swinging later, you’ll climb up to another pirate watchtower. Circle around the base to find the door. The Ottoman Helmet is inside on the left.

[Treasure] Deccani Bronze Vase location

From there, you’ll climb up to the top of the tower, and swing over to a slide-able hill. Before you slide down, turn left. Use the ledge to climb over to the clearing on the other side of the big rock to find the Deccani Bronze Vase.

[Treasure] Strange Relic location

From the Deccani Bronze Vase, slide down the first stretch of mud. At the bottom of the slide, head left through the narrow pass. At the end of the pass, climb the wall on your left. At the top, you’ll have to run and jump into open air. Watch for the grapple point prompt on the tree high above you (this might take a couple tries). Swing to the far side, and pick up the Strange Relic from the stone fountain(?).

Journal entry 4 (of 6) collectible location

Head back to the bottom of the slide. Turn to the right this time, and climb over the low wall there. Drop down the ledges to the lowest clearing. Look at the door and grapple point to pick up this journal entry.

[Treasure] Hamsa Mythical Goose location

From journal entry 4, jump out and use the grapple point on the spear to swing across the cistern. Turn and look under the second slide’s ledge to see another spear-wielding statue. When you grapple to this second spear, climb up a little, and swing over to the base of the statue to pick up the Hamsa Mythical Goose.

Journal entry 5 (of 6) collectible location

Rappel down to the bottom of the cistern, and then face the second spear statue (the one you just rappelled from). Head through the small door just to the right of the statue. Inside, you’ll find a couple blueprints (“brownprints”) for Pirate Land. Approach the diarama on the table in the middle of the room for this journal entry. (While you’re here, interact with everything you can in the room. You need to do this to trigger the optional conversation below.)

Optional conversation 2 (of 2) location

Like we just mentioned, before you leave the diorama room, interact with everything you can — the three reliefs on the walls, the two brownprints, the diorama, and the model statue. You need to interact with all of it before you can trigger this conversation.

From the diorama room, head into the room to the left of the second spear statue — you can either go back to the cistern or swim over along the back wall of the room(s). Interact with the supplies and provisions on the table. After that, you’ll be able to trigger this conversation with Sam.

[Treasure] Pique Tortoise Shell Box location

Still in the supplies room, look across the water at the back of the room. The Pique Tortoise Shell Box is in a clearing near the edge of the water. Head to the left, and then follow the stone column around to the right. Swim a little, and you’ll climb out right on top of the treasure.

Journal entry 6 (of 6) collectible location

From the bottom of the cistern, you’ll continue on to solve a puzzle (by lining up shadows with rotating symbols), and then return to your boat. Back on the smaller island (with the first pirate lookout tower where you got journal entry 3, the Silver and Wood Tankard, and the Persian Silver Pen Box earlier), you’ll find the giant statue of Avery. As you approach the statue before you climb it, look up at it to get the final journal entry.

Chapter 13 “Marooned” treasure locations

There are five treasures, two journal entries, and two journal notes to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 13, “Marooned,” follows Nate after Rafe’s boats attack and he’s stranded on the dark and rain-soaked island. Toward the end of the chapter, you’ll reunite with someone and discover something big.

[Treasure] Persian Ring location

From the opening of the chapter, you’ll be stumbling around the shores of the rocky island from much earlier in the game. A lot of slipping, climbing, and falling later, you’ll try to climb a pitch under a small waterfall. You’ll slip and fall. Once Nate wakes up, you’ll head outside and spot a large waterfall.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End ‘Marooned’ treasures and collectibles locations guide — Persian Ring treasure location.

Scramble your way over toward that large waterfall — there are plenty of handholds and ledges to get you there. Just before you reach a large waterfall (not the biggest waterfall yet, but big enough), there will be a roughly cylindrical outcropping covered in handholds and tiny waterfalls.

Use the ledges to climb up near the top, but don’t climb onto the top. Work your way to the right — toward the large falls — along that horizontal crack. You’ll find the Persian Ring at the rightmost end.

[Treasure] Wood Tankard location

Keep climbing and swinging up the cliffs until you climb over the top in a cutscene. There, you’ll use your grappling hook to rappel down along the biggest falls and discover a cave behind them. Stick to the left wall of that cave. Just a little way inside, there’s a pair of large boulders on your left. You’ll find the Wood Tankard behind them.

Journal entry 1 (of 2) location

From the Wood Tankard, head to the right toward the middle of the cave. Use the ledges to climb up and jump onto the central pillar. Look over toward the right wall to spot a skeleton where you’ll get this journal entry.

[Treasure] Spy Glass location

From the “No quarter for thieves” skeleton, head to the left. Slide down the stream bed, and jump across to the waterfalls. Climb the ledges there to the top, and follow the water upstream. Just inside the tunnel, the Spy Glass will be on some crates on your left.

Journal note 1 (of 2) collectible location

Keep following the river upstream until you climb out of the river and tunnel into a new cistern. Walk forward, and there will be a skeleton on your left behind some rocks. You’ll pick up this journal note from its satchel.

Journal entry 2 (of 2) location

Right where you pick up journal note 1, look up the cliff face and a little to the right to spot another skeleton and this journal entry.

Journal note 2 (of 2) collectible location

Just after that, you’ll climb up past that skeleton (and take his piton). A lot more climbing and piton-ing will bring you around a corner where you’ll spot some Shoreline mercs. After a lot of climbing, sneaking, and shooting, you’ll reach a natural stone pillar with a grapple point above it. Swing around that corner.

When you land, follow the path, and you’ll come to a ledge. The second journal note is with the skeleton on top.

[Treasure] Dress Dirk location

Climb the ledge to the left of the journal note 2 skeleton, and follow the path to find the Dress Dirk.

[Treasure] Frechen Bearded Bottle location

A bit more climbing and one reunion later, you’ll make your way through a ruined pirate settlement. You’ll drop into a mostly collapsed house, and crawl through a tunnel in the debris. As you’re crawling along, watch for a room to drop into on your right.

Inside that room, turn right, and drop down one more level. Turn around, and duck under the floorboards. Keep to the left, and make your way all the way to the back. Turn right when you hit the back wall to find the Frechen Bearded Bottle.

Chapter 14 “Join Me in Paradise” treasure locations

There are nine treasures, four journal entries, two journal notes, and six optional conversations to find in Uncharted 4 Chapter 14, “Join Me in Paradise,” which follows Nate and Sam across the lost pirate city of Libertalia.

Right at the start of the chapter, before you even move, turn to the right. There’s a window in the brick wall behind you. Climb through, and climb around to the wagon in the next room to pick up the Carved Horn Bird Sculpture.

When you drop down from the Carved Horn Bird Statue, trigger this conversation with Sam.

Optional conversation 2 (of 6) location

In the center of the market square, head into the tavern(?). Climb up to the second floor, and trigger this (long) conversation at the chairs.

Optional conversation 3 (of 6) location

Directly across the street from the tavern is the blacksmith (there’s an anvil sign out front). Head into the room on the left. Interact with the cutlass on the workbench, and then follow Sam to trigger this conversation.

Journal note 1 (of 2) collectible location

Use the blacksmith’s workbench to climb up to the second floor. Head into the hall on the right, and then take the next left. This journal note is on a table on your left when you walk into the next room.

Journal entry 1 (of 4) location

Back down at street level, cross into the stables (there’s a horse sign hanging out front). You’ll get this journal entry when you interact with the horse skeleton inside on the left.

Optional conversation 4 (of 6) location

Once you’re done drawing the horse skeleton for journal entry 4, look for Sam to trigger this conversation.

Journal entry 2 (of 4) location

Head back out of the stables, and turn left. There’s a stone stele that will give you this journal entry.

[Treasure] Mughal Vase location

From the pirate rule sign, turn right. Follow the road that passes by the blacksmith, and then head into the building on your left. Stick to the left wall, and head into the room behind the counter. The Mughal Vase is on your right as you go through the door.

Journal entry 3 (of 4) location

Back outside, head down the stairs toward the statue of Captain Avery. There’s some graffiti on the back that will trigger this journal entry.

Optional conversation 5 (of 6) and journal entry 4 (of 4) location

While discussing the graffiti, look to your left. Sam will wander over to the stocks where you can trigger this conversation and journal entry at the same time.

[Treasure] Ancient Stone Pot location

From the stocks, turn left and head into the prison. Snake your way past the counter and back to the cells. Head all the way down to the last cell, and then duck through the hole in the bars to get back to the middle (closed) cell and the Ancient Stone Pot.

[Treasure] Painted Copper Bottle location

After the prison, you’ll cross the street and wander around a collapsed building. Inside, you’ll find a tunnel to an underground pirate hideout. At the back of the hideout, climb the ladder. Take the right tunnel at the top to find the Painted Copper Bottle.

Journal note 2 (of 2) collectible location

After the Painted Copper Bottle, you’ll head through another section of Libertalia that’s full of Shoreline goons. After the sneaking and shooting is done, you’ll swing to the crumbling tower on the far side of the town, and then jump into a large collapsed building. As you and Sam drop into the next room, this journal note will be on your right.

[Treasure] Mughal Jade Bottle location

From journal note 2, continue into the next room. As you pass through the door, the Mughal Jade Bottle is right above you. Use the exposed beams to climb up and grab it.

[Treasure] Slipjoint Claspknife location

A little swinging and more climbing later, you’ll run into Shoreline again. When the shooting stops, you’ll climb another tall, crumbling tower. At the top, you’ll swing over to another new section of town.

Climb the stairs, and follow the building around to the right. Jump out into the open air, and throw your grappling hook as soon as you see the prompt. Swing around to the right, and then into the bottom floor of the building. The Slipjoint Claspknife is on a precarious crate there.

[Treasure] Large Bronze Boar location

When you swing back over to Sam, you’ll climb through a window into a big, fancy building. In the next room, you’ll have to swing through a collapsed section. On the other side of the swing, head into the room on the left. The Large Bronze Boar is on the fancy desk to your right.

[Treasure] Stout Vase location

When you return to Sam, you’ll swing over to another big, fancy building. Hop through the broken window, and slide down the mud on the other side. In the next room, take the stairs on your right. Take them to the right, and then jump across the collapsed section of balcony. The Stout Vase is on the desk.

Optional conversation 6 (of 6) location

Leaving the room with the staircase, you’ll duck through a debris-filled tunnel. In the open square on the other end — that’s filled with cannons, barricades, and bodies — Nate will start writing in his journal. When he’s done drawing, Sam will walk forward to examine a body. That’s when you can trigger this conversation.
