In this Vampire Survivors character unlock guide, we’ll explain how to access each playable character in the game, including the secret ones.
Each character in Vampire Survivors has a specific requirement you need to meet before you’re able to unlock them, usually displayed in the “unlocks” section of the game’s menu. However, the secret characters have their prerequisites hidden.
This guide collects all of the unlock requirements for each character, secret or otherwise, as well as their special abilities and starting weapons.
Vampire Survivors character unlocks
Outside of the four starting characters in Vampire Survivors, each normal character is associated with a Steam achievement and an unlock node in the unlock menu. Unlike their normal counterparts, secret characters do not have an associated achievement or node, so you’ll need a guide like this one to know if you have them all.
Once you’ve unlocked a Vampire Survivors character, their silhouette will appear on your character select screen the next time you start a run. However, you’ll need to purchase the new character with gold if you actually want to play as them.
