How to redeem a Steam key on Steam Deck

So you have a code to unlock a game on Steam, but you don’t want to run to your computer to redeem it. No worries! You can redeem your code directly from the Steam Deck. The option is buried in the Settings menu, but once you know where to find it, the process is painless.

Here’s the process for redeeming a code:

At any point when using the Steam Deck, simply tap the Steam button on the lower left corner of the front of the device. A menu should appear on the left side of the screen. Select Settings, located at the bottom of the list.

The Settings menu has a bunch of submenus. Ignore all of them and scroll to the very bottom of the list. Select Library, and a page will appear with the words Activate a product on Steam. Select Add game, and a text box will appear, allowing you to redeem your code.
