With so many Relics in Rogue Legacy 2, which ones should you pick?

As you venture about in Rogue Legacy 2, you’ll find Relics — items that will power you up during one of your heir’s journeys. Relics can make or break a run, as many of them can power you up, but sometimes those power-ups come at a cost. Our Rogue Legacy 2 Relics guide lists out all the different Relics you can find and what they do.

Relics are often found in rooms that offer a choice between two of them. Once you take one, you cannot take the other, so choose wisely. Some Relics listed below are also available through special rooms or the Curio Shoppe.

Each Relic costs Resolve, and since you have a finite amount of Resolve, you’ll need to be careful about which Relics you pick. (Sometimes picking neither Relic is better than grabbing one, especially if you’re low on Resolve.)

Resolve is your heir’s confidence and it gets lower the more they carry. Heavy armor and Relics will lower your heir’s Resolve and once it drops below 100%, you’ll lose Max HP. Depending on your heir’s weight class, you’ll get more Resolve, allowing you to carry more.

Relic descriptions are obscured until you use each of them for the first time, making some of your early decisions tricky. Below, we’ve listed all of the Relics, Resolve costs, and Relic descriptions.

Aite's Sword 35 You deal 125% more damage, but this Relic is fragile.

Ambrosia 25 After taking damage you are Invincible for an additional 1.25 seconds.
Ancestral Soul 0 Revive from mortal blows with 50% of your HP. Can occur 1 time.
Antikythera 35 Gain 10% Magic Damage per enemy defeated. Bonus lost when hit. (Max 50%).
Arcane Necklace 25 Cast 3 Spell(s) to charge the necklace, and make the next cast free.
Atrophos' Scissors 25 Critical damage from Spells and Weapons increased by 20%.
Blessing of Life 0 Take 30% Max HP damage. Increase Max HP by 15%.
Blessing of Strength 0 Deal 6% more Weapon Damage.
Blessing of Talent 0 Gain 20 Resolve.
Blessing of Wisdom 0 Deal 6% more Magic Damage.
Body Buffet 35 Defeated enemies have an 8% chance of dropping a Health Drop.
Boxing Bell 45 Your weapon applies Combo.
Catalyst 25 Deal 20% bonus damage to enemies with a Status Effect.
Charon's Trial 0 Cursed Relic. Until purified, any hit taken is Fatal. Defeat 15 enemies to purify it and gain a 20% Gold, Ore, and Aether bonus.
Clotho's Spindle 25 Critical chance for Spells and Weapons increased by 10%.
Coeus' Shell 45 Defeat 6 enemies to prevent the next source of damage.
Consume Nectar 0 Heals for 500% of Intelligence and restores 100% Mana.
Cornucopia 25 Health Drops restore an additional 8% of your Max Health.
Corrupting Reagent 35 After 3 Dashes, your next Dash will leave a poisonous cloud behind for 2 seconds.
Cosmic Insight 25 Gain 100 Mana when hurt. Mana gained can Overcharge.
Demeter's Trial 0 Until purified, any hit taken is Fatal. Collect 2 food/potions to purify this relic and gain 30% Max HP and 50 Mana.
Diogenes' Bargain 15 Oath Relic. No more gold. All Gold Bonuses are converted into an XP bonus instead (100% + your Gold Bonus).
Dreamcatcher 35 Defeat enemies while at Max HP to gain 5 Max Mana. (Max 200).
Empty Vessel 25 Gain 10% bonus Health, Weapon and Magic Damage.
Fate's Die 25 After defeating 6 enemies, the next non-special enemy hit dies instantly.
Freon's Reward 25 Opening Chests restores Health equal to 100% of Intelligence.
Glowing Ember 25 Deal 75% more damage on every 6th hit. Counter resets if you take damage.
Gnawed Bone 25 Eating Health Drops while at Full Health increases Max HP by 10% (Max 3 stacks).
Grave Bell 35 You have a 25% chance of avoiding a Fatal Blow.
Hector's Helm 25 While below 50% Health, deal 20% more Spell and Weapon damage.
Hermes' Boots 35 You are Immune to static spikes.
Heron's Ring 35 For every point of Resolve below 100%, deal an additional 1% bonus Magic damage.
Hyperion's Ring 55 Revive from mortal blows and regain 50% of your HP. Can occur 1 time(s).
Incandescent Telescope's Bargain 15 Oath Relic. Deal 25% more damage to enemies far away, but deal 25% less damage if they are nearby.
Ivy Roots 25 Deal 12.5% bonus damage while on the ground.
Ivy Seed 25 Create an Ivy Canopy every time you do an Aerial Recovery.
Lachesis' Measure 55 Enemies defeated with a critical hit restore 6% of your Max Health.
Lamech's Whetstone 35 Weapon Skill Crits now apply Magic Break for 2.5 seconds.
Lily of the Valley 10 Two are required to open the doors to Estuary Naamah.
Lotus Petal 25 Increase your total Mana Pool by 50.
Lotus Stem 45 Blocks up to 2 attacks. Consumes 150 Mana per block. Mana potions restore charges.
Marble Statue 25 Landing creates a small shockwave that destroys Mid-sized Projectiles and deals 50% Magic damage.
Obelisk 25 Your Skill Crits have an extra 20% chance of becoming Super Crits.
Onyx Key 45 A black key. (Used to open the Onyx Gate.)
Pandora's Trial 0 Cursed Relic. Until purified, any hit taken is Fatal. Defeat 10 enemies to purify this relic and gain 50 Resolve.
Pearl Key 45 A white key. (Used to open the Pearl Gate.)
Rage Tincture 25 After taking damage, deal 100% more damage during the Invincibility window.
Raven's Ring 35 For every point of Resolve below 100%, deal an additional 1% bonus Weapon damage.
Red Sand Hourglass 25 Every 5 seconds your next Weapon attack deals 75% bonus damage. Timer resets if you take damage.
Serquet's Stinger 55 Your Weapon applies 1 stack of Poison.
Skeleton Key 35 Open locked or melted Fairy Chests. Breaks after use.
Soul Tether 45 Every 5 seconds, your next attack deals 150% bonus Magic damage to all nearby enemies.
Steel-Toed Boots 35 Spin Kicks now apply Armor Break for 3.5 seconds.
The Future Successor's Bargain 0 Oath Relic. Depart this world. Increase your current Gold by 35%. (Instantly kills you.)
The Heavy Stone Bargain 15 Oath Relic. Your Weapon deals 100% more damage, but has a 2 second cooldown.
The Incarus' Wings Bargain 15 Your jump is replaced with Flight, but you take 100% extra damage.
The Serrated Handle's Bargain 15 Oath Relic. Deal and take 100% more damage.
Vanguard's Banner 45 Dashing creates a wave that destroys Mid-sized Projectiles. Waves travel 2 units.
Voltaic Circlet 35 Hitting an enemy with your Weapon will generate a damage aura around you for 1.5 seconds.
War Drum 45 Every unique relic increases your damage by 6%.
Weighted Anklet 25 Your Spin Kicks deal 25% more damage.
Weird Mushrooms 35 Defeated enemies have Spore Burst applied to them.
Zealot's Ring 25 Spells cast while at maximum Mana deal an additional 20% damage.
