Every gift in Neon White: Rebirth

Every level of Neon White contains a gift. These gifts unlock new dialogue and new side quests — additional levels — when you give them to your fellow Neons.

In this Neon White guide, we’ll explain how to get every gift in Rebirth, the game’s first level.

1 – Rebirth gift locations

Movement

Neon Yellow – Six Pack

Go through the level until you reach the elevated ring of water. When you jump up to it, take a left. Jump off onto the sloped towers, and keep hopping across until you reach this gift.

Pummel

Neon Red – Perfume

You’ll be able to see this gift right from the start of the level — to the left of the wall of balloon demons. Grab one of the Purify cards as you go past, discard it to shoot a bomb onto the ground, and jump as you step onto it — that will launch you right up to the gift.

Gunner

Neon Violet – Tattletail Toy

Grab at least three Purify cards as you make your way toward the exit — there are plenty along the way. There’s a tall tower over to the left. Use a Purify bomb and jump to launch yourself up, and then use two more bombs against the tower to carry you to the top and this gift. You can see our (very sloppy) approach above.

Cascade

Neon Yellow – Six Pack

This gift is above you at the start of the level, but you’ll need to collect some Elevate cards to grab it. Head forward and make the first jump. Turn right at that ledge and jump and Elevate to the waterway above you. Grab the Elevate card there, and then turn around to face the way you came. Use the water to speed up and jump to the platform ahead of you. Run along the beams at the top of the temple(?) where you started. Use that last Elevate card to reach the gift.

Elevate

Neon Violet – Tattletail Toy

Once again, this level’s gift is above you at the start — it’s in the tower to the right. Head through the level and grab the first three Elevate cards. The first is in the chest at the start; kill the yellow demon for the second; and jump out for the third. You can reach it and switch direction to land back where you started. Return to the tower and discard all three Elevates to double (quadruple?) jump up to the top to claim this gift.

Bounce

Neon Yellow – Six Pack

This level’s gift is tucked under a bridge, so it’s not as visible as the others you’ve found so far. Use the balloon demons to bounce your way up until you reach the first Elevate card. Where you pick up the card is directly above the gift. Either backtrack a little to get a better angle or jump off the bridge there and discard the Elevate to reach this gift.

Purify

Neon Violet – Tattletail Toy

Blast your way past the first red door. On the other side, you’ll see the gift at the top of a tower on your right. Grab (at least) two Purify cards and loop around to the level’s exit. Use one Purify to launch yourself up to the roof to the left. Use the next Purify to lift yourself the rest of the way to the gift.

Climb

Neon Red – Perfume

Progress most of the way through the level until you reach the circular water trough. Follow it around to the end. Instead of shooting the red door, use one of your Purify cards to launch yourself up to the platform above to collect this gift.

Fasttrack

Raz – Lucky Cat Statue

Continue all the way through the level, collecting every card — you’ll end up with two Purify and one Elevate. Just ignore all the enemies. When you reach the exit, discard a Purify card as you jump to launch you forward toward the lower of the two roofs. Drop the other Purify card to launch yourself upward again and then burn the Elevate card to carry you the rest of the way up to the next roof and the gift.

Glass Port

Neon Red – Perfume

Progress through the level until you reach the long stairs and inclined water. At the top, grab the three Purify cards (and deal with any nearby enemies). Use two Purify bombs to launch yourself up to the closest roof. Once there, drop another Purify bomb to carry you to the next roof up and grab the gift.
