In this Hitman 3 guide, we’ll walk you through every Mission Story in Mendoza, Argentina, during “The Farewell” Mission, including “Eyes On Target,” “Over The Top,” and “The Tour.” Below, we’ve got maps showing where to start, important items to find, where every clue is, and every location you’ll need to visit.

Eyes On Target
Trick Yate’s sniper team into eliminating Tamara Vidal.
Don Yates has the snipers on high alert. They await a picture ID and kill order from the guards on the ground. Yates himself is clearly off-limits. But Tamara Vidal is a different matter.
Hitman 3’s “Eyes On Target” Mission Story requires Agent 47 to take the role of a sniper spotter to trick Don Yates’ security into killing Tamara Vidal.

From the Parking Lot, head south. Jump the fence into the guarded parking area, and stick to the left wall — use the low wall and cars to stay out of sight. When you reach the end of the area, vault the low wall, and duck around to the left — in front of the limo and behind the pickup — to climb through the open window into the (unmarked) security office. Grab the coin from the corner of the desk (we’ll need it later).

Step out into the hallway on the other side and turn right. Turn on the fuse box to create a distraction, and duck behind the pipes and hot water tanks(?) nearby. Wait for the nearby gaucho to come investigate, subdue him, and put on his disguise. Dump his body in the cabinet back in the office.
Exit the office again, and turn left this time. Take the tunnel to the far end to reach the Silo. When you come aboveground, turn right. Grab the crowbar as you pass (always grab crowbars), and climb the stairs up to the silos.

There’s an enforcer gaucho patrolling the walkway, so wait for him to walk away. Head to the center of the walkway, and take the stairs on your right.

Listen to the sniper and his spotter to start the “Eyes On Target” Mission Story.
Steal a spotter’s earpiece

Take the stairs down to the northeast corner of the Silo area. Hop the wall and crouch in the lavender. Make your way into the center of the Lower Gardens. There are two gauchos with some watermelon targets next to a pickup truck.

Wait for them to turn their backs, and sneak in to grab the earpiece out of the box behind the truck. Duck back into the flowers if you need to avoid getting spotted by an enforcer (your disguise makes you generally safe here, though).
Equip camera//Scan a practice target
Pull out your camera and snap a picture of one of the watermelons or the wine bottle on the table nearby.
Scan Tamara Vidal
Your gaucho disguise will let you run mostly freely wherever you have to go. We found Tamara Vidal in the Tasting Room in the northeast of the main building.

Watch for enforcers while you scan her with your camera.
Talk to Diana
To get her in the open, you’ll need to talk to her. Head around to the north side of the Tasting Room to find another door inside. Keep an eye out for the three enforcers as you make your way to the bar. Use the people to blend in if you have to.
Dispose of Vidal’s bodyguards
Diana will lead Tamara out to the open area to the east where the sniper will spot her. You need to take out the three bodyguards first.

Follow them all out of the Tasting Room. As Diana and Tamara settle in, the trio of guards will take up positions nearby.
- When the sniper radios in, one of the guards will walk left (north) to the railing. Either walk up behind him and shove him over to eliminate him, or subdue him and drag him into the flower bed. Either way, pick up his gun so no one spots it.
- Use the coin we picked up earlier to create a distraction for the middle guard. Either toss him over the railing as well, or subdue him and stash him in the flower bed too.
- The one on the right (south) will be leaning against a railing around a … moon door? … a big hole in the ground over water. Hop the railing and shimmy over behind him. Attack him to drop him into the water and out of your way.
Order the shot

Vault back over the railing and approach Tamara and Diana. Hit the prompt to take the shot and complete the “Eyes On Target” Mission Story.
Over The Top
Sabotaging the pump is sure to draw Yates’s attention.
The large fermentation tanks are accident prone. Apparently, if the central pump malfunctions, the tanks will overflow.
Hitman 3’s “Over The Top” Mission Story requires Agent 47 to pose as a worker in the vineyard to sabotage some equipment and ruin Don Yates’s day.
To start this Mission Story, you’ll need to get to the Fermentation Atrium on Level 2. We’ll do a couple steps out of order first to make the rest of the Mission Story a little easier.

From the Parking Lot, head north-northeast and look for the “dangerous cliff path” sign.

Drop off the ledges twice, and you’ll land behind a gaucho. Subdue him, stash him in the flowers, and put on the gaucho disguise. Leave the shotgun behind — it’ll only cause problems later. Continue across the grape fields toward the main building.

At the corner of the building — just north of the Malbec Field on the map — look for a vent you can hack with your camera. Open it, and climb inside (you’re safe in your gaucho disguise).

Drop to the floor and head right (north) across the (open) overhead door. Use your Instinct to watch for a screwdriver stuck in a barrel along your right. Grab it as you pass.

A little farther north, there’s a counter on your right. Grab the fuse cell and the Winery Workers’ Key from it, and put the fuse cell in the fuse box a few steps farther north. Don’t do anything with it yet — it’ll let us eliminate Don Yates at the end of the Mission Story.

Take a left, and head to the back (west) wall of the Production Room. Look for an enforcer winery worker standing next to an open vat of grapes. Get behind him, subdue him, put on the winery worker disguise, and dump his body into the grapes.

Continue north to the Fermentation Room and take the stairs up to the Fermentation Atrium. Look for a couple of overconfident workers talking to pick up the “Over The Top” Mission Story. While eavesdropping, head over to the toolbox just west of them to find a wrench.
Follow the senior worker
Follow the senior worker down to the Fermentation Room floor where he’ll scold a worker. (There are two more objectives here — disguise yourself as a worker and find a screwdriver — that we’ve already taken care of.

Stay out of sight behind the barrels to the left while they talk.
Expose the electrical wire

You need to get the grumpy enforcer worker out of the way to sabotage the plug. Grab the soda can from the ground behind the barrels, and toss it into the huge crusher to the west. (You can go turn it on with him inside if you’re feeling particularly bloodthirsty.)

Expose the wire on the plug while he’s investigating.
Sabotage the wine pump
There’s another soda can over by the huge vat to the east of the plug. Pick it up and repeat the distraction (we didn’t kill him because the guy has a baby at home and we’re not total monsters).

Head over and break the wine pump to complete the “Over The Top” Mission Story.
Since we’re here to kill someone, though …
After a minute, Don Yates will come running in to survey the damage and generally be mean to everyone. While he’s yelling, head south to the fuse box. When he’s done yelling, he’ll send the workers away.

Wait until he’s the only one standing in the spilled wine, and turn on the high voltage power outlet to fry him.
The Tour
Joining the tour as either Black or Vargas will give you close access to Vidal … away from prying eyes.
Yates has planned for Diana and Vidal to go on a tour of the estate with his ruthless fixer Corvo Black and the estate’s chief winemaker, Gabriel Vargas.
Hitman 3’s “The Tour” Mission Story requires Agent 47 to take the role of either Gabriel Vargas or Corvo Black, and participate in a tour of the winery.
We’re going to start this Mission Story similar to “Over The Top” above — the gaucho disguise, screwdriver, Winery Workers’ Key, and out-of-the-way path are very convenient.

Keep heading north and around the corner to the grape presser in the Fermentation Room’s southeast corner. Use the key to unlock the safety mechanism.
From here, there are (oddly) two places to start this Mission Story and two slightly different paths through it. Which path you take is determined by how you start and who you’re disguised as: Corvo Black or the chief winemaker.
Corvo Black
Take the hallway to the east out of the Fermentation Room and past the two gaucho guards there. Take a right to spot a long staircase up.

Take those stairs to the Atrium. You’ll walk in right next to a couple guards. Eavesdrop on them to pick up the “The Tour” Mission Story.
Disguise yourself as Corvo Black
Corvo Black, the guy on the left during the conversation you overheard, will head upstairs from there. Follow him. When he’s done with his phone call, he’ll wander off to have a cigarette.

Subdue him, put on the Corvo Black disguise, and dump his body in the flower bed behind you.
Talk to reception
Head back downstairs and south across the Fermentation Atrium to check in at the reception desk.
Join the other guests
Head outside and to the left to find stairs down to the grape fields. Approach Vidal and Burnwood.
Infiltrate the grapefields//Investigate the hold-up

Head a little to the northeast until you’re mostly out of sight, and jump the fence into the vineyard.

Work your way southeast until you spot the chief winemaker at his tasting table.
Disguise yourself as a winery worker

When the chief winemaker sends one of the workers to retrieve grapes, follow that worker. While he’s looking for his (conveniently missing) knife, subdue him, put on the winery worker disguise, and stash him in the wood chipper to the south.
Acquire a grapepicking knife

Head for the Grape Shed along the eastern edge of the fields. Avoid the gaucho enforcer and head inside.

There are two grape knives inside. There’s also a convenient map on the wall that will point you to your next objective.
Harvest three ripe Malbec grapevines
Run over to the Malbec vines to the west of the Grape Shed. Use your Instinct to find three bunches of grapes.
Deliver grapes to the chief winemaker//Disguise yourself as Corvo Black

Return to the chief winemaker’s table and hand over the grapes. Listen to him rave about the grapes, and then head back to the northeast to retrieve your Corvo Black disguise.
Join the other guests//Follow the chief winemaker
Hop the railing and return to Vidal and Burnwood. When the tour starts, follow along.
When you get the prompt, ask a question of Mr. Vargas.
You’ll get four icons on your HUD, each of them a way to eliminate Tamara Vidal. Save here if you want to rack up some Challenges.
Option 1: Ask about grape presser

Turn to the right and lead the group the the (state-of-the-art) grape presser. He’ll invite the three of you to step inside so he can take a picture. Go stand for the picture, and walk out when Burnwood asks to see it (which conveniently distracts the chief winemaker.
Hit the button to start the grape presser, and you’ll earn the A Thick Must Feat Challenge.
Resume the tour.
Option 2: Ask about freezer

Head to the south and back into the Production Room and over to the freezer. Tamara and Vargas will step inside and point out that there’s no doorknob inside.
The chief winemaker will leave first. Tell him you have no more questions, and wait for him to turn his back on you. As soon as it’s safe to, use your screwdriver to short circuit the freezer door.
This will earn you the Coldhearted Assassination Challenge.
Option 3: Ask about grape crusher

Head south-southwest into the Production Room and up onto the metal platform. Ask about the grape crusher. Stand behind Tamara while Vargas does his tour guide thing.
Burnwood will create a distraction with the radio. Wait until Vargas’ back is turned, and give Tamara a push. This will earn you the Pulp Friction Assassination Challenge.
Option 4: Ask about fermentation tank

Cut across the Fermentation Room to the northwest. Take the stairs up to the top of the large fermentation tank in the corner and ask Vargas about it.
When he’s done, Burnwood and Vargas will head back downstairs. Vidal will conveniently hang out with you. Subdue her, and dump her body into the tank to get the Primary Fermentation Feat Challenge.
Follow the chief winemaker
Regardless of how you handle the question and answer session, resume the tour and head to the Barrel Room to complete “The Tour” Mission Story.
Chief winemaker
From the grape presser, head back into the Production Room. Just outside the overhead (garage) door, you’ll see the Vargas, the chief winemaker. Hang around for a second, and he’ll take a call from Yates (and then start complaining). You’ll pick up the “The Tour” Mission Story after the call.
Disguise yourself as the chief winemaker

Follow the chief winemaker into the grave vines. He’ll eventually make his way to a tasting table. When the sends one of the workers to retrieve grapes, follow that worker.

On your way back to the chief winemaker, watch for a water pump one row over and a little to the north. Turn that on, and the other worker will come investigate. Subdue her, and stash her body in the crate one row to the east.

Turn on the water pump again to draw the chief winemaker over. Subdue him, put on the chief winemaker disguise, and stuff his body in the same crate.
Join the guests//Present the Production Room
Head over to the Production Room entrance (between the Grapefield Roads and the Production Room) to meet the guests.
Present the Fermentation Room
Lead the guests inside, and tell them about the Fermentation Room.
At this point, you’ll get the same four options you got as Corvo Black.
Option 1: Present freezer
Turn to the left (south) and lead the group to the “drag-in” freezer. Present it, and both Corvo and Vidal will walk inside.

Short circuit the door with Corvo and Vidal inside to complete “The Tour” Mission Story and earn the Coldhearted Assassination Challenge.
Option 2: Present grape crusher
Head west across the Production Room and up onto the metal platform to present the grape crusher. Unlike when you’re posing as Corvo, there doesn’t seem to be a clean way to take out your targets here. (If you want the Pulp Friction Assassination Challenge, try starting the Mission Story the other way.)
Option 3: Present grape presser

Head north into the Fermentation Room and lead the group the the (state-of-the-art) grape presser. Step inside while you give your talk. Corvo and Vidal should follow you. Step back out before they leave (and make sure Burnwood is outside, too).
Hit the button to start the grape presser, and you’ll earn the A Thick Must Feat Challenge while completing “The Tour” Mission Story.
Option 4: Present fermentation tank
Take the group to the Fermentation Room and cut to the northwest. Take the stairs up to the top of the tall fermentation vat in the corner. Make your presentation.
There doesn’t seem to be a good way to eliminate Vidal (or Corvo) without being seen here. If you want the Primary Fermentation Feat Challenge, it’s easier to be disguised as Corvo.
Present the Barrel Room//Finish the tour
If you haven’t killed Vidal yet, you’ll need to finish the tour to complete the Mission Story. Present the Barrel Room, and then head to the west side to wait for Yates. When he arrives, you’ll finish off “The Tour” Mission Story.
