Immortals Fenyx Rising best horse guide: How to get the silver pegasus and purple unicorn

Where to find Epic mounts early

There’s a lot of different ways to travel in Immortals Fenyx Rising and one of the fastest is by riding on a mount.

You are likely to get your first mount if you travel to the Goddess of Love statue, Aphrodite, just northwest of the Hall of the Gods early in the game. Right below her statue is a small grassy patch with some pillars and several standard horses roaming around. While these horses are fine, they’re nothing compared to the best mounts you can get early on: a silver pegasus named Laurion and a purple unicorn named Tyrian.

Despite their luxuriousness and rarity, you can find Epic mounts very early in the game. This Immortals Fenyx Rising guide will show you the locations of the silver pegasus and the purple unicorn, and how to tame them (and earn the Oceancookie Achievement/Trophy).

Where to find the silver pegasus

From the Messenger of the Gods fast travel point, head to a small island just southeast of there to find Laurion’s location in the Clashing Rocks area.

You can either glide on over if you have your wings or take the long way around by jumping and climbing between the small islands. If you’re island hopping, be warned: There are some seriously powerful enemies on the way there that may discourage you from your trip.

Thankfully, Laurion’s location is free from any enemies, and it’s pretty easy to spot. You’ll find the area with the silver pegasus at the bottom of the last island in this group, near a shipwreck.

Once you make your way over, quick save first. The area with the silver pegasus is pretty barren, so there’s nowhere to hide to sneak up to it. If you scare it off, you can reload your save and try again.

Once you’ve spotted the mount, crouch walk as slowly as you can. If you see a red exclamation point appear above Laurion’s head, stop and wait for it to go away. Continue to creep up to it until the “Tame Animal” prompt appears. Once you’ve tamed it, you can summon Laurion whenever you want.

Just south of the Hall of the Gods is a small batch of little islands surrounded by land. This beachy area is where you can find Tyrian, the purple unicorn.

There isn’t much to taming the colorful mount, though it’s a good idea to quick save before attempting to tame it, in case you scare it away. Tyrian is running around on the sand, and you might be able to hide in some tall grass to sneak up on it. If you see a red exclamation point appear while you crouch walk near it, stop, and then slowly continue inching toward it.

Keep moving forward until the “Tame Animal” prompt appears. Once you’ve tamed Tyrian, you can summon the horse any time you like.

Unlike the standard mounts you’ll find, both of these creatures are level three, which means they have three times the stamina of a normal mount. You won’t find any other mounts nearly as powerful as these two this easily, so prioritize getting them as quickly as you can. Mounts run out of stamina pretty fast, and there’s a lot of ground to cover in Immortals Fenyx Rising, so you’ll appreciate their boosted strength in the early game.
