After you save Phosphor, your flying phoenix companion in Immortals Fenyx Rising, you’ll learn about Daidalos’s treasure room. Pinpointing its location requires you to find clues in two smaller quests: “The Name of Love” and “Eagle Eye”. Completing these two quests unlocks the final challenge, “A Debt Repaid.”

In this Immortals Fenyx Rising walkthrough, we’ll show you how to gather clues for the location of Daidalos’s treasure room, solve puzzles throughout, and defeat a boss.

When you arrive at the location of “The Name of Love” puzzle, you’ll find a square area with a few tracks and two structures on either side.

At the far end of the quest area is a circular platform you can stand on. Doing so will light the brazier in the center of the puzzle location. Your goal is to light up two hidden braziers contained in the two structures.

To light the brazier inside the bottom of the structure on the right, use Apollo’s Arrow to light an arrow on fire with the brazier in front of you, and then guide your arrow into the opening at the bottom of the structure. Do the same with the tower on the left. Just make sure that your arrow enters from the right side of the structure.

Lighting both braziers will cause two large blocks to fall from the towers and lasers to fire across the area. To solve the puzzle, you must push each block onto a platform at the end of the tracks they’ve fallen into.

Start by pushing along the block on the right side so it eventually falls into the small pool at the end of its track. This will stop the lasers from the right side of the quest zone. From there, you can push the left side block through its track. You’ll still have to push through the lasers on that side, but since you moved the right side blocks over, you won’t have to deal with them.

Once you’ve pushed both blocks onto their buttons, you’ll unlock the clue along the wall and complete this quest.

“Eagle Eye” puzzle solution

Heading over to The Forgelands to find the second clue, the Eagle Eye puzzle is less of a head-scratcher and more of a prelude to a later boss fight. Once there, you’ll encounter the Godly Griffin Lieutenant. This won’t be a full boss fight, but rather a teaser for something to come.

As the fight begins, the Godly Griffin Lieutenant will circle around you. Now that you have Phosphor, use its abilities to attack the bird while it flies out of your range. You can take shots at with your bow as well.

When the Godly Griffin Lieutenant glows red, it will do a shriek attack that you can’t parry. Dodge backward to get out of its range. If you’re caught in the attack, it will drain your life fast. The griffin will also do a diving charge attack, which you can parry or dodge.

Once you whittle about a quarter of its life away, the bird will disappear and you’ll get your next clue. With both clues in hand, you’ll get a map marker for Daidalos’s Treasury and the quest called “A Debt Repaid.”

How to solve the puzzles in Daidalos’s Treasury

Daidalos’s Treasury is a level three Tartaros rift, so stock up on potions and upgrades at the Hall of the Gods. You’ll mostly solve puzzles here and finish up your fight with the Godly Griffin Lieutenant at the end.

The first puzzle

The switches aren’t what they seem

The first puzzle requires you to place three blocks on three platforms with lasers above them. Set the boxes down on the platforms in the right order, and a gust of wind shoots up from the back of the puzzle area, allowing you to glide to the next section.

There are three boxes: Two of them are metal and one is wooden. Hitting the three switches that spawn the boxes will make the wooden box spawn on the left and the metal ones in the center and the right. The wooden box will get destroyed by the lasers if placed on a platform, whereas the metal boxes will will not be affected. If you try and place the blocks on the platforms in front of their spawn locations, you’ll find that this puzzle will be unsolvable.

Instead …

  1. Place one metal box on the platform on the left.
  2. Place the other metal box on the platform on the right.
Placing boxes on the left and right first will make the lasers disappear from the platform in the center.
  3. With the lasers gone, grab the wooden box, hop up, and place it on the switch.

A gust of a wind will appear, allowing you to glide to the next section.

The second puzzle

The next puzzle will have three boxes again and lasers, but this time, only one box is metal. To solve this puzzle, you’ll need to swap the metal box around by placing it and a wooden box on a platform at the same time.

The final configuration of boxes will look like this:

This will take some setup

To get this setup, do the following:

  1. Place the metal box on the platform on the left.
  2. Place a wooden box on the same platform.
  3. With both boxes on the platform, remove the metal box.
  4. Place the metal box on the platform at the northern end of the area.
  5. Place the last wooden box on the platform on the southern end, in same position as the metal box so when the lasers activate, they won’t destroy the wooden box.

With that configuration completed, another gust of wind will appear and let you glide to the next section.

Godly Griffin Lieutenant boss fight

Flying up to the final section will bring you to the continuation of your fight against the griffin.

This fight is much the same as the small skirmish you had earlier. Be sure to make Phosphor attack the boss as much as possible, since they can get multiple hits without you lifting a finger. As before, dodge its red scream attack, and either dodge or parry its diving attack.

As long as you keep your distance, use Phosphor, and shoot the boss with arrows, the fight should be easy enough. If you’re having trouble, make sure to use your potions to top up your health and also to boost your defense and attack power.

Completing the boss fight will give you an upgrade for Phosphor and a new cosmetic for your wings.

Equipping the Phosphor of Lit Cinders also boosts your companion’s damage by 150%, making them a very powerful addition to your arsenal. You also get the Wings of Ikaros cosmetic for your wings, giving them a fiery appearance.
