Luigi’s Mansion 3 guide: 14F gems locations

Luigi’s Mansion 3’s The Dance Hall on 14F has six hidden gems shaped like a headphones. In this guide, we’ll show you their map locations and how to find them all throughout the level.

On every floor, gems appear in the same order from left to right in the menu: clear, red, blue, green, purple, and finally yellow. We’ll follow the same order below.

14F DANCE FLOOR [CLEAR GEM]

Once you’ve revealed the backstage dressing room (see the blue gem guide below for directions), flash the record on the left with your flashlight. Doing so will reveal a set of stairs on both sides of the dance floor. Taking the steps up the west side of the room, you’ll find a floating lamp. Shine your Dark-Light on it to reveal a table and the clear gem ghost.

14F DANCE FLOOR [RED GEM]

After you’ve made both stairs appear on the dance floor (see the clear gem instructions above), have Luigi suck air at the turntable against the wall on either side of the room. Spinning the record will cause music to play from the speakers above the dance floor.

Summon Gooigi, and have him do the same on the opposite end of the room.

Having both speakers play will rattle the lighting rig above the dance floor causing the mirror ball to fall, shatter, and reveal the red gem.

14F DANCE FLOOR [BLUE GEM]

After defeating the boss, you’ll find two tiles are unlit on the dance floor. Have Luigi and Gooigi stand on them, revealing a power outlet. Plug in and suck up the entire DJ setup and the wall behind it to reveal a dressing room behind the stage.

Once everything is clear, head into the room to find one of the wigs missing from the stand. Shine your Dark-Light on the wig holder to reveal it. Once it’s back, suck it up to discover the blue gem.

14F ELEVATOR HALL / COAT ROOM [GREEN GEM]

Enter the gift shop by pressing ZL + ZR to move the counter out of the way. Vacuum up the poster pictured in the gallery above to enter into the coat room.

In the coat room, suck up all the coats on the left. As you suck up each one, a platform also rises up. When they’re all gone, the green gem will pop out from the platform.

14F ELEVATOR HALL [PURPLE GEM]

To the immediate left of the elevators is a pair of turntables. Keep sucking air at them until a small block comes out of the wall behind Luigi. Switch to Gooigi, and use the ZL + ZR jump move to hit the block with Gooigi’s head until the purple gem eventually pops out.

14F ELEVATOR HALL [YELLOW GEM]

Right in front of the elevator is a bunch of lit up tiles. Each time you step on one, they light up or turn off. Walk on the tiles so you can have them all light up.

They’ll switch to a green color with only two unlit tiles. Summon Gooigi, and have him and Luigi stand on both unlit tiles. You’ll need to do this three times.

The tiles will turn into a secret staircase leading to a vault below. Have Gooigi sneak past the bars and grab the yellow gem in the top right corner of the vault.
