In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, planet coins are special resources that you can use to buy planet keys, weapon skins, and more crucial items from the local shop. These coins come from side quests, most of which are marked on the map.
However, there are a few planet coins that come from special hidden side quests that don’t appear on the map. If you want to 100% each world in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, you’re going to need to find all the planet coins — including the hidden ones.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find the four hidden planet coin side quests in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope’s first world, Beacon Beach.
Cannonball!

When you first land on Beacon Beach, you’ll notice a funny, flying capsule near your ship on an unreachable part of the beach below. This is a planet coin capsule, and you’ll need to complete your first short side quest to grab it.
To get to the capsule, you’ll need to blow up the eye blocking your path, which means you’ll need one of the special Darkmess bombs.

Go to the mainland and look for the blue orb that looks a bit like a cannonball, which is sitting out in the open near some trees. Nearby, you’ll see a Rabbid cannon and a depository next to it where you can stick your new orb friend. This will unlock the cannon.
Take the cannon and you’ll land on a nearby island. Grab the Darkness bomb on the island and hop into the other nearby cannon to head back to where you started. Use the bomb to blow up the eye blocking your path.

Continue past where the eye was blocking, defeat the Bob-omb, and you’ll eventually find the “Cannonball!” capsule.
The Secret of the Statues

Head over to the “Goomba with a pot on his head” quest marker on the northwest side of the map. You’ll find a square peg sitting in the water. Pick it up. (Careful not to accidentally engage combat with the Goomba, as it can be a tough fight).

With your new peg in hand, head south along the shoreline and hug the wall. You’ll eventually come across a small alcove with a place to put your peg. Slot it in and you’ll unlock the two Rabbid tunnels near the Goomba. Head over to the tunnels and enter them.

Follow the path until you reach the “Darkmess Outside the Lighthouse” side quest. Complete it and you’ll get rid of the giant Darkmess puddle, revealing a triangular peg. Use the nearby Darkmess bomb to blow up the eye blocking your path back to the Goomba. Once it’s gone, grab the triangular peg and carry it over to the Goomba. Slot it in the triangular depository and you’ll spawn the “Secret of the Statues” planetary coin capsule.
Behind the Clay Jars

This one is really easy to complete, but also easy to miss if you aren’t paying close enough attention.
After completing the “Ceramic Panic” side quest in the Beacon Beach Temple Catacombs, walk forward to the giant urn at the back of the room. Slide the box on the right out of the way and walk behind the urn. Grab the round peg and carry it back to the nearby depository. Slot it in and your planet coin capsule will appear.
Basement Treasures

After the dungeon, leave out the northern exit. You’ll find yourself in the basement of one of the Beacon Beach homes in the main square. Behind you, you should see a planetary capsule stuck behind some wood. Slide the crate that’s blocking your path to the right and grab the capsule.
With those four hidden coins found, you’re well on your way to 100% completion for Beacon Beach.
