Monster Hunter: World Spring Blossom Fest schedule

Challenge and event quest names, dates, start and end times, levels and objectives

Monster Hunter: World’s Spring Blossom Fest is here, and it includes dozens of events. In this guide, we’ll show you the schedule for event quests and challenge quests —including their dates, levels, objectives — and how to figure out when things begin and end in your timezone.

When do Spring Blossom Fest quests start?

Monster Hunter: World’s Spring Blossom Fest began at 12 a.m. UTC on April 6, 2018 and ends at 11:59 p.m. UTC on April 19, 2018, but dates and times can be a little misleading because of timezones. For example, it began at 8 p.m. EDT on April 5 for those in EDT. It’ll end at 7:59 p.m. EDT on April 19.

Every Spring Blossom Fest quest starts at 12 a.m. UTC and ends at 11:29 p.m. UTC. We’re using Capcom’s dates (based on UTC time) in our schedule below. According to the always helpful World Time Buddy, this is how they translate into some common timezones:

  • Quests start at 8 p.m. EDT and end at 7:59 p.m. EDT
  • Quests start at 5 p.m. PT and end at 4:59 p.m. PT
  • Quests start 1 a.m. CET and end at 12:59 p.m. CET

A few quests started March 30, before the Spring Blossom Fest. They’ll continue to be available, and you’ll be able to recognize them below by their start dates. We’ll point out any anomalies at the beginning of each section, too.

Spring Blossom Fest quests

There are two kinds of Spring Blossom Fest categories — event quests and challenge quests. There are also two tables below — one for the former and one for the latter.

Every row below contains the following information:

  • The name of the quest
  • The day that the quest starts (at midnight UTC, which is the previous day at 8 p.m. EDT and 5 p.m. PDT)
  • The day that the quest ends (at 11:59 p.m. UTC, which is the previous day at 7:59 p.m. EDT and 4:59 p.m. PDT)
  • The minimum HR level required
  • The minimum star level (★) required
  • The quest objective
  • The location of the quest

We’ve sorted each table below by the (UTC) quest start date, but you’re not locked into that arrangement. Click or tap the headers to rearrange them by any of the headers.

Monster Hunter: World Spring Blossom Fest Event Quest schedule

Note that three quests — Chew the Fat, Egg Lovers United and Effluvial Opera — began back on March 30. They’ll all run the duration of the spring event, though. Everything else starts and ends with the Spring Blossom Fest.

Remember that we’re using Capcom’s UTC dates. So if you’re on the East Coast of the U.S., and you see a quest with a start date of April 19, it’ll actually be available to you at 8 p.m. EDT on April 18.

Monster Hunter: World Spring Blossom Fest Challenge Quest schedule

A few Spring Blossom Fest challenge quests are kind of weird and worth highlighting:

  • Three quests — Nergigante Slay Event 1, Nergigante Slay Event 2 and Nergigante Slay Event 3 — began on March 30 and will run through the end of the spring event.
  • Challenge Quest 2: Intermediate ends at 7:59 p.m. EDT on April 12 (11:59 p.m. UTC on April 12).
  • Gale & Fangs Slay Event 2 and Challenge Quest 1: Beginner start at 8 p.m. EDT on April 12 (12 a.m. UTC on April 13) and run through the end of the event.
