New Pokémon Snap’s colorful ocean area, Maricopia Reef, is filled with water-type Pokémon swimming around. Maricopia Reef has a daytime route and a nighttime route. Some Pokémon are only around during either the day or night, while others will appear during both. (The Maricopia island has three different areas: Blushing Beach, Maricopia Reef, and the Lental Seafloor.)

A few Pokémon also have specific requirements to appear, like using Illumina Orbs or throwing Fluffruit. There are also Pokémon that will only show up when you level up the area’s rank, so if you’re not seeing some Pokémon we have mapped out, you may need to rank up first.

In our New Pokémon Snap guide, we’ll list out the different Pokémon you can find on each Maricopia Reef route, complete with a map. We may be missing a few Pokémon from the areas because the game has tons of interactive features, but we have found all the Pokémon listed below in the area.
