The Louis Vuitton x League of Legends hoodie costs $2,420

The Louis Vuitton and League of Legends collection has finally dropped, and as expected, nothing comes cheap.

The apparel seems to be loosely based off of the True Damage Qiyana Prestige Edition skin, with the champion herself appearing on t-shirts and dresses. Pulling from Louis Vuitton branding, all of the items for sale have the iconic flower and star pattern. They also all have a tiger stripe pattern overlaying it on several items. While we’re not entirely sure what the colored stripes have to do with League of Legends, it’s a pretty dope look.

The prices are steep, but that’s not surprising given the usual pricing of Louis Vuitton items. The LVxLoL joggers are $1,610. The zip-up hoodie is $2,420. The dress that looks similar to Qiyana’s is $2,280. The most expensive item in the collection, a leather biker jacket, costs $5,650. With an average League of Legends skin costing $10-15, one Louis Vuitton shirt would be equivalent to ... (does the math) a lot of skins.

The collection is obviously aimed at a very small subsection of the League of Legends fan base that is into luxury brands, but man, does it have me wishing I had more money.

Louis Vuitton also made a carrying case for the 2019 League of Legends World Championships trophy. A Prestige Edition for the True Damage Senna skin, which will also have a Louis Vuitton design, will release sometime in 2020.

Jesus Christ, amazing what a name can do to a price.

Hideous. Money can’t buy good taste, I guess.

This! I literally was gonna post this exact sentiment.

Better dock my yacht in Miami and take my McLaren up to the Louis Vuitton store so I can cop this.

Seriously, who is buying this shit? If you have money, you’re probably not sitting on your ass playing LoL every day, and if you love LoL, you’re probably not rich.

China has recently been developing a taste for luxury goods and high priced items. And Korea is super into luxury goods and LoL. Likely these are targeting those markets.

I mean, if I was rich enough to not have to work anymore, I would be gaming all the damn time. I imagine that part would be true for most people who visit this website.

If I was that rich, though, I would buy clothes that look good, instead of clothes that look ugly.

They’re targeting the rich Asian markets, with the kids whose parents have a lot of money.

Having said that I have ordered something.

The only ones tacky enough to spend that kind of money on this stuff.

$500+ dollars for a keychain? Yikes.

Also I can see LV in the LoL skin but I see very little to no LoL in the LV merchandise.

And, as with everything Louis Vuitton makes, it looks like a child drew a picture of vomit using crayons, ate the crayons, ate the picture, threw up both, and tried to hide it with a massive price tag.

I don’t know if this is true or not but I love the picture you created in my head.

Harambe didn’t die for this.

The more I look at it, the more it looks like a waste of everything.

There is no way in hell this is a premium design. It looks like fatigues with a K price tag put on it.
