PS4 Pro event: How to watch online, streaming and start time (update)

Where to watch Sony's PlayStation Meeting

Today is Sony's PlayStation event, dubbed the PlayStation Meeting. While Sony hasn't outlined today's agenda, there are a few things we're expecting.

We know that Sony confirmed its upgraded PlayStation 4, codenamed Neo, but the company has not detailed any plans for it yet. The new console is 4K-capable and will be more powerful than the current-gen PlayStation 4. There have also been plenty of rumors surrounding the so-called PlayStation 4 Slim. Sony has not owned up to the existence of the system, but we've seen a lot of it lately.

The past few weeks have brought us plenty of rumors and leaks, but today is the day we'll get some clear updates from Sony.

What to expect from today's event

Sony's upgraded, 4K-capable PlayStation Neo is likely to be showcased. We're still in the dark about the official name, its price tag and when we can expect it to hit store shelves. Today's event should see the PlayStation Neo taking center stage.

It hopefully won't be alone as we've already seen leaks for the PlayStation 4 Slim. The slimmed-down console has already been seen in the wild and examined, but today we're looking to get the official word on the system. Sony hasn't officially confirmed the console, but today's PlayStation Meeting seems like a fitting place to do that.

You can watch Sony's YouTube livestream above once it starts at 3 p.m. ET.

Update: The upgraded console's name has been confirmed and is called The PlayStation 4 Pro.
