Grab some Strange Eggs

To celebrate fall, Pokémon Go is having an autumn-themed event from Oct. 12 until Oct. 19 with some pretty good perks.

The crown jewel of the event is that the distance players have to walk to hatch eggs has been cut down by 75%, meaning that you won’t have to do much walking at all to hatch your eggs. In addition to this, Team Go Rocket balloons are appearing every three hours, and you can get two photobombs a day, rather than one.

Three new Pokémon are also making their debut during this event. Sandile, Pawniard, and Vullaby are now obtainable in Pokémon Go, through hatching Strange Eggs. Strange Eggs can only be obtained by taking down Team Go Rocket leaders. These eggs can have the new Pokémon, and also house Deino, the dark- and dragon-type Pokémon. If you don’t have Deino already, now’s a good time to try and grab one.

In addition to that, there’s also a small set of Field Research Tasks to complete during the event.
