Pokémon Go Enigma Week 2020 event guide

Many mysterious Pokémon will be up for grabs this week

Pokémon Go is celebrating its second Ultra Unlock Week, Enigma Week, featuring a ton of mysterious Pokémon. The event takes place from Aug. 7 at 4 p.m. ET until Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. ET.

Pokémon like Staryu, Clefairy, Bronzo, Elgyem, and Baltoy will be spawning in abundance, with some of them hatching from seven kilometer eggs as well.

Unknown letters U, L, T, R, and A will be in raids, and you can find them Shiny as well. Niantic does note that after this event, the “Shiny Unown will go back into hiding,” so any interested trainers should try to hunt them down now.

Shiny Staryu will also be making its debut during this event.

Normal Forme Deoxys will also be the featured ‘mon in tier five raids, and it’ll be available Shiny for the first time. This Deoxys is neither a great PvE or PvP Pokémon, so we only recommend going out to grab one if you need the Pokédex entry or you love the Shiny form.
