Pokémon Go Rivals Week event guide: Field Research and rewards

Pokémon Go is hosting an event that showcases Pokémon who compete with each other in Rivals Week, which will take place from April 13-18.

Pokémon like Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Electabuzz, Magmar, Makuhita and Meditite are spawning more frequently in the wild during the Rivals Week event period. Most importantly, this event adds several new Pokémon to the game: Skrelp and Clauncher, as well as their evolutions, Dragalge and Clawitzer.

You can also find both Zangoose and Seviper spawning, regardless of which region you’re in. This is a rarity because these are migratory Pokémon, so grab as many as you want before the event ends.

There is also a Global Challenge during this Pokémon Go Rivals Week event, prompting players to battle in a combined 40 million raids before the event ends. If players are successful, Stardust obtained from catching Pokémon will be doubled temporarily.

Therian Forme Landorous is also making its Pokémon Go debut in five-star raids.

As usual during Pokémon Go events, there are specific Field Research Tasks you can pick up from spinning PokéStops during the event period.
