Pokémon Go’s Bug Out event is back for 2022, and with it come new Pokémon like Grubbin and Mega Scizor. The event runs from Aug. 10-16 and increases the spawn rates of bug-type Pokémon, as well as providing other bonuses.

Our Pokémon Go Bug Out event guide lists out the boosted spawns, event Field Research, Collection Challenge, and the “Bug Out Catch Challenge” Timed Research tasks.

Notably, the regional Pokémon Pansage (which is normally only available in Asia) is spawning globally throughout the event, so make sure to grab at least one before it’s gone to fill out your Pokédex.

You’ll also get more candy when you catch a Pokémon with a nice, great, or excellent throw.
