Shiny Oddish and the rest of its evolutions are now available in Pokémon Go, to supplement the Safari Zone event in Taiwan.

While players who attend the event in-person will have chances to catch rare regional Pokémon and Unown, Oddish spawn rates have increased around the world.

That said, if you wanted to try to collect a Shiny Bellossom or Vileplume, it’s best to get to your local Pokémon Go spots now and check out as many Oddish as you can — you can only get the Shiny versions of Bellossom or Vileplume from evolving a Shiny Oddish. Only Oddish will appear in the wild or hatch Shiny. If you spot a Gloom, Vileplume, or Bellossom in the wild somehow, they won’t appear Shiny.

Paired with the Stardust Burst event that begins later today, Oddish fans will be able to go and catch a bunch of the adorable shrubbery while benefiting from doubled catch Stardust. Hatching Pokémon, defeating Team Rocket grunts at PokéStops, and completing raids also rewards more Stardust.
