Torchic will be getting its own Community Day in Pokémon Go on May 19.

The event will feature an increased Torchic spawn rate from 3-6 p.m. in your local time zone. As with all Community Days, Torchic will also have a chance to spawn Shiny at an increased rate.

Stardust rewarded from catching Pokémon will also be tripled during this time period, so hold on to your Star Pieces to cash out big in May. As usual, Lures will also last for three hours when placed during the event period.

Evolving a Torchic into a Blaziken will also teach it an exclusive move, though the move has yet to be announced. Blaziken isn’t a top-tier attacker, falling to Moltres, Charizard, and Flareon for fire-types and Machamp for fighting-types. With the exclusive move still being up in the air, Blaziken can maybe move up in the ranks, but for now, there are better alternatives.
