Pokémon Go’s February Community Day will feature the grass-type Pokémon from the Hoenn region, Roselia.
The event will take place on Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in your local time. As usual with Community Day events, Roselia will be spawning in high numbers, with its chance to appear Shiny dramatically increased.
When evolved into a Roserade during from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. in your local time on the event day, it’ll learn Bullet Seed and fire-type Weather Ball. Neither moves are particularly good for Roserade, but evolving one during the event period will be worth it for any collectors of rare movesets.
Roserade with Razor Leaf and Grass Knot makes it a very good grass-type Pokémon for taking down raids and gyms, so if you don’t have one yet, this is your chance.
Unfortunately, this Community Day isn’t releasing a new Shiny, as Shiny Roserade was released already in 2018. However, for those who didn’t catch one during its original release period, this will be a good time to catch up.
Egg hatch distance will also be cut by 75% during the event, so make sure to get Incubators ready.
