Pokémon Go is hosting a fairy- and dragon-type event, “Twinking Fantasy,” from Jan. 10-16. This is a great time to catch powerful dragon-types or complete your dragon- and fairy-type badges.
Notably, any candy and XP you gain from catching Pokémon with nice, great, or excellent throws will be increased, so if you land some fancy throws, you can rake in candy to evolve rare Pokémon like Goomy and Deino.
Mega Salamence is also making its debut in this event in raids, allowing you to finally Mega Evolve your powerful Hoenn dragon. Any Zekrom caught until Jan. 18 will also know its signature move, Fusion Bolt.
The fairy- and electric-type mouse, Dedenne, is also available shiny for the first time ever.
