Pokémon Legends: Arceus wisps are a type of collectable. These glowing purple flames only show up at night, and you’ll need to find 108 wisps to complete one of the optional requests in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Our Pokémon Legends: Arceus wisp location guide maps out where all the wisps are and what you get for finding them all.
How to find wisps
Shortly after the game starts, a cutscene prompting you to find purple glowing wisps will start. This activates request #22 “Eerie Apparitions at Night.”
Jubilife Village has seven wisps (not including the tutorial wisp), and every other biome has 20, making them a bit of a scavenger hunt that you can only do at night.
To find wisps quickly, use the flying Braviary mount at night, which allows you to scope out the areas quickly. The render distance for wisps is actually pretty far, so you’ll see them pretty clearly at night, even if you’re far away.
Eerie Apparitions at Night reward
If you find all 108 wisps, you’ll be able to catch Spiritomb, the ghost- and dark-type Pokémon that’s always associated with the number 108 and funky puzzles. Completing this collection is the one way to get Spiritomb in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Wisp locations and maps
Below, we map out every wisp location, per map. If you approach the marked area at night, you should be able to easily see the wisp, with some exceptions for these in caves or underground (which we’ll note).
Remember that wisps only show up at night.
Jubilife Village wisp locations
Obsidian Fieldlands wisp locations
Crimson Mirelands wisp locations
Cobalt Coastlands wisp locations

One of the wisps is inside Wayward Cave. The Ancient Quarry wisp is inside the stone tunnel under the quarry.

One of the wisps south of Avalugg’s Legacy is underground, in a nearby cavern. One wisp is also in Snowpoint Temple.
Update (Feb. 7): We’ve updated two areas with more Wisp locations.
