Pokémon Sword and Shield’s first gym is in Turffield, a lush town with rolling, green hills and ancient standing stones. You’ll head there to battle Milo, the grass-type gym leader, but you’ll want to stick around to explore, too.

In particular, there’s a riddle to solve. Head up the pathway to the left of Turffield’s Pokémon Center and up the hill. There’s a little girl standing at the entrance to the tourist area. Speak with her and she’ll tell you a riddle: “Seek yourself three standing stones, with grass before the other ones. Use that strength, and find then the strength of its strength in the end. Dally not, if you’ve a mind to find what time has left behind.”

If you solve the riddle, you’ll be awarded a treasure — an Expert Belt, which is an item that’ll slightly boost super effective Pokémon moves. It’s not a mind-blowing prize, but the riddle is easy enough to solve. Here’s how.

Grass standing stone in Pokémon Sword and Shield Game Freak, The Pokémon Company/Nintendo via Polygon

The first stone to visit is, of course, the grass standing stone. If you’re standing facing the Turffield gym, take the left path to get to the stone. Select it to interact, and then you can move on.

Water standing stone Game Freak, The Pokémon Company/Nintendo via Polygon

Head to the water standing stone — grass is strong against water — by taking the first right, your next left, then your next left again. You’ll see the stone to your right. Select it to interact.

Fire stone Game Freak, The Pokémon Company/Nintendo via Polygon

The next stone is the fire standing stone, since water is strong against fire. Take the first two rights and ride along the path past the Pokémon Center. Bear left to reach the fire standing stone. Select it to interact and finish the puzzle. Keep clicking and you’ll receive the prize.

It’s important to mention that if you mess up at all during the riddle solution — visiting in the wrong order or something — you’ll have to start over by speaking to the little girl again.
