In the Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion, The Crown Tundra, you can capture several legendary titan Pokémon.
Hidden among the frozen lands of this DLC are temples containing the hidden lairs for Registeel, Regirock, Regice, Regieleki, and Regidrago. Once you have all of them, you can also catch Regigigas. To get the chance to challenge each of these monsters, you must fulfill a simple requirement at their respective locations. After defeating them, the Pokémon can be captured.
This Pokémon Sword and Shield guide will show you the location of each of these legendary titans hidden in The Crown Tundra DLC.
To help you defeat all of the legendary giants, we’ll also share what their types are. From there you can use our Pokémon Sword and Shield strength and weakness chart to figure out which creatures to bring along for the fight. Also, if you defeat these Pokémon in battle, simply activate the statue in their temple again to try again.
How to catch Registeel
Registeel, the steel-type giant, can be found on the western side of The Giant’s Bed, just south of Freezington.
When you approach its temple, an inscription on the door reads, “Let ring the piercing note that will wake the giant of steel.” To unlock the door, simply press in your left thumbstick to whistle. To wake Registeel to fight, walk on circles on the ground to light them up similar to the pattern of the statue in the room. Then interact with the statue.
How to catch Regirock
Regirock, the rock-type giant, can be found in the southeast side of The Giant’s Bed.
Its temple has an inscription that reads, “Let the first Pokémon hold a never-changing stone.” To gain access to the temple, you’ll need to have your lead creature hold an Everstone, which can be found in Turffield. To wake Regirock to fight, walk on circles on the ground to light them up similar to the pattern of the statue in the room. Then interact with the statue.
How to catch Regice
Regice, the ice-type giant, can be found in the lower section off to the west in Snowslide Slope.
The temple’s door asks you to, “Walk together with a living crystal of snow.” In order to do that, find a Cryogonal in the area, capture it, and make it your lead Pokémon and have it walking with you. To wake Regice to fight, walk on circles on the ground to light them up similar to the pattern of the statue in the room. Then interact with the statue.
How to catch Regieleki, and Regidrago
The final temple allows you to catch either Regieleki, the electric-type giant, or Regidrago, the dragon-type giant. To get to it, you must travel through and out of the Roaring-Sea Cave, then out into the Frigid Sea, then south to the Three-Point Pass.

Once you decide which of the two you want to capture, you need to have Registeel, Regice, and Regirock in your party to enter the temple. Before entering the temple, make a note of the pattern of circles outside the temple. Copy the pattern on the yellow left side if you want to capture Regieleki or the pattern on the red side on the right for Regidrago. Then interact with the statue.
Once you lock in a pattern, you can only capture the corresponding Pokémon.
How to catch Regigigas
After you’ve caught all four legendaries — and traded to get either the missing Regieleki or Regidrago into your party — you can also get Regigigas, a normal-type legendary.
To challenge the level 100 titan, place all five titans into your party and fast travel to the Watt Trader located at the base of Snowslide Slope. From there, travel southwest to find this inactive raid den in the Giant’s Bed.

With all five titans in your party, the raid den will become active. Interact with it then you can fight a level 100 Dynamax Regigigas.
