The Pokémon Go Global Catch Challenge has ended, and Niantic Labs reports that players caught more than 3 billion Pokémon to unlock new rewards. They had until today to do so, and easily beat that deadline, clearing the challenge yesterday evening.

Those final rewards mean Farfetch’d, formerly a region-exclusive Pokémon, is now available worldwide for the next 48 hours. Kangaskhan, formerly exclusive to Oceania, is now available in East Asia over the same span.
Players already unlocked double XP, double Stardust and six-hour duration Lure Modules for racking up 1.5 billion catches. They passed that milestone on Wednesday. Those bonuses are available in the game until Friday, Dec. 1.
