Red Dead Redemption 2 guide: Aberdeen Pig Farm

Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of little scenes you just happen upon. They’re not tied to the main story and they’re not even as big as Stranger Mission — they’re just flavor text for the world.

One of these events that you may find is at the Aberdeen Pig Farm. This guide will tell you how to find the Aberdeens and how to fix everything if you have dinner with them. (We will not, however, be offering any commentary on what the heck is happening there.)

You’ll find this pig farm a little to the southeast of Emerald Station (and Emerald Ranch). It’s roughly halfway between Emerald Station and Lagras. As you approach the front porch, you’ll be greeted and invited inside for dinner and a drink.

You’ll have to do a little walking around inside the house before dinner gets served, but it’s straightforward enough. Things get interesting when you start with the drinks. If you choose to accept the drink from the Aberdeen woman, you’ll eventually have a third, and then everything will go dark.

Recovering your money

When you wake up in the mass grave, head back to the south to return to the pig farm. When you get there, deal with the Aberdeens however you see fit. The Aberdeens will have a few dollars on them you can loot, and there are plenty of drawers to search throughout the house for goodies.

But the most important thing you’re looking for is all of your money that they stole from you. Look for the portrait of the old woman near the front door (it’s the picture we used for the header of this guide). Approach it and investigate it to find a cabinet hidden behind. You’ll find your cash inside.
