Resident Evil 2 Claire [2nd] walkthrough Part 4: Rescue Sherry

From the Parking Garage, Behind RPD, and into the Orphanage.

Resident Evil 2 Rescue Sherry Claire 2nd run Capcom via Polygon

After playing as Sherry in your 2nd run through Resident Evil 2, you return to Claire, who now has to rescue Sherry.

Parking Garage

You’ll pick up with Claire back in the Chief’s Office and receive the Parking Garage Key Card. Now head back down to the Parking Garage.

Insert the Parking Garage Key Card into the scanner in the Parking Garage.

Tyrant show up as the door is opening. Back up into the main part of the garage so you have some room, then skirt around him and run into the street.

The street

There’s nothing to pick up out here, so just worry about getting away. Across the street to your right, you’ll see a zombie banging against a chain link fence. Head toward him, and he’ll knock the door in the fence down. Get past him and his friend and head up to the catwalk.

Behind RPD

Follow the catwalk until you find yourself behind the police station. There are several zombie dogs between here and the Orphanage that you’ll have to shoot along the way. Head to the Basketball Court to the northeast. Pick up the Submachine Gun Ammo x50 and the Green Herb on the benches, then turn left. Try to take out the zombie dogs before they jump the fence.

In the area beyond the court, about halfway up on the left side, grab the Blue Herb. Climb onto the bus and shoot the Mr. Raccoon toy on the dashboard. Pick up the Hand Grenade on the seat.

On the other side of the bus, you’ll find the entrance to the Orphanage.


There’s nothing to pick up out front, so just head to the front door. Inside, head upstairs.

Go up to the Nursery, and shoot the Mr. Raccoon toy on the shelf immediately in front of you when you enter.

Loop around to the Bathroom where Sherry stole the key from Chief Irons, collect the First Aid Spray and Submachine Gun Ammo, and read the Letter from the Director.

Head back downstairs and toward the Director’s Room. You’ll get a quick cutscene in the hall before you get there. After the chief departs, continue down the hallway. Read ____’s Diary (if you didn’t as Sherry) and save at the Typewriter.

Climb down the ladder in the floor. Loop around the fence to find Sherry, then run like hell.
