Resident Evil Village’s “Collect Rose: 1/4” objective takes you through the Potter’s Field and Garden, and House Beneviento’s Foyer, Living Room, Doll Workshop, Medicine Room, Storage, Study, Old Well, and Bedroom areas where you’ll find RE8’s Doll Woman, Winding Key, Silver Key, music box, brass medallion, Breaker Box Key, fuse, Sun and Moon Ball, onyx skull, Photo of a Strange Bird, Angie doll, W870 TAC shotgun, a lockpick, a Goat of Warding, the Luthier’s Key, and the Four-Winged Unborn Key key item.

Collect Rose: 1/4
Finish up any shopping with Duke. Head to the door on the north side of the Altar. Use the Four-Winged Key to unlock the gate and follow the path.
Potter’s Field, Garden

When you reach the area called Potter’s Field on your map, there’s a path that loops back around to the main path. There’s nothing to do here, just a good thing to note.
Just keep walking through the totally normal and not at all cursed forest and across the Suspension Bridge — there’s nothing to do or collect until you reach a large door.
At the door, the sign on the right says “Give up your memories.” Put your Family Photo through the mail slot.
Step inside, and ride the elevator up. At the top, follow the path to House Beneviento.

Before you go through the front door, take a left. Follow the porch around an go down the stairs. You’ll find a Goat of Warding just outside the fence.
House Beneviento 1F

Push through the front door and cross the Foyer. On the left side of the back wall, go through the door to the Living Room.

There’s nothing to pick up, so head to the door on the right. Follow the hallway around and ride the elevator down.
House Beneviento B1
When you step off the elevator, there’s a breaker box to your right — you can’t interact with it, but it’ll probably be important later.

Cross the room heading west and go into the hallway on your left. Follow it to the end, and step through the double doors into the Doll Workshop.
Step forward and (try to) interact with the flask. When the lights come back on, hit the typewriter in the southwest corner.
Doll Woman

There’s a new, life-sized doll on the table in the middle of the room.
- Examine her left leg. Move left up her shin until Ethan’s hands are on her knee, and then push the thumbstick left. You’ll discover the Winding Key.
- Examine her left hand for the Blood Covered Ring.
- Examine the bandages around her torso. We’ll need to find something sharp for these.
- Check the photo on the table.
- Examine her mouth. There’s something inside we’ll need a tool to retrieve.
- Examine her left eye. There’s a raven flying right symbol.
- Examine her right shoulder. Move up her arm to her shoulder and pull the panel off to find the Silver Key.
- Examine and pull off her right lower arm. There’s a three closed eyes symbol.
Medicine Room
Use the Silver Key on the door leading east. Head to the sink on the left. Turn on the water, and use it to wash the Blood Covered Ring. It will become a Wedding Ring.

Open your inventory and examine it. Flip it around to find a date inscribed inside — 05-29-11.
Storage Room
Back in the Doll Workshop, enter the date — 052911 — into the combination lock on the door. Step through the door. Follow the hall, and the first door on your left will conveniently pop open.

Head to the left, and use the Winding Key on the music box. The front panel will open. If you try to play it, you’ll get this error message:
It won’t play. Something’s not right.

Arrange the cylinders so that the scratches line up. Use the scratches on the left and right to find your starting and ending cylinders, and then arrange the last few like in the image above.
Hit play. A drawer will pop open, and you’ll get the tweezers.
Study
Take the tweezers back to the Doll Workshop, and use them to fish the film out of the doll’s mouth. Take the film all the way back to the Study — the room off of the elevator.

Read the note on the desk:
1. Rose’s best friend in the whole wide world.
2. She really likes this fairy tale.
3. The most important thing in the world to us.
4. A wedding gift from grandma.
5. Proof of Ethan’s everlasting love for me.
Examine the film and projector. Rearange the film strips to match the note. From left to right, they are the stuffed monkey, the Village of Shadows, baby Rose, the music box, and the hand with a ring.
Play the movie.
A secret passage will open behind the screen. Inside, turn right and take the scissors from the doll (who has no business having scissors).
Doll Workshop puzzle door
Take the scissors back to the Doll Workshop and cut away the bandages on the doll woman. Open the … er … compartment to find the brass medallion.

Take the hall to the west of the Doll Workshop to the puzzle door at the other end. Place the brass medallion in the empty slot, and then slide the other two to match the symbols you’ve seen: a raven flying right in the upper left and three closed eyes on the bottom.
Step through when the door opens and follow the tunnel.
Old Well
Do like the old film showed you, and climb down the ladder. At the bottom, pick up the Breaker Box Key.
Climb back out, and head for the elevator.
Breaker box
When the adorable baby appears, turn and sprint back to the Medicine Room. Climb inside the wooden locker (next to the locked door), and pull the door closed behind you.

Once it wanders off, wait for the sounds to fade, and then follow it back toward the elevator. Hide in the lockers in the Medicine Room or Storage if you have to avoid it again.
Use the Breaker Box Key to unlock the breaker box by the elevator. Grab the Relief of a Child.
Head west into the Study again. In the secret passage, right where you picked up the scissors, duck down and use the scissors to cut through the bandages blocking the tunnel.
Mother’s Door, Kitchen, Bedroom
Duck through the tunnel in the Study and work your way through the tunnel and hallway to the far end. You’ll end up back at the Medicine Room. Unlock the door to give yourself another means of escape.

Backtrack a little to the Mother’s Door. Place the Relief of a Child to unlock it.
Head down the stairs and go through the first door on your left. Loop around the Kitchen counter and back into the hallway. Take the door on the right at the end into the Bedroom.

In the southernmost corner, grab the fuse from the wall. Start back through the Kitchen and to the stairs up the the Mother’s Door. You won’t make it there.
Turn and sprint back to the Bedroom. Hide in either the wooden locker or under the bed.
Breaker box
You’ve only got one path back to the elevator and breaker box. Go through the Kitchen, Mother’s Door, Medicine Room, and Doll Workshop. When you get back to the breaker box, place the fuse.

Sprint into the Study. The secret passage is closed, but you can use the desk (where the projector was) to outmaneuver the baby. Dash past it and back to the elevator.
Mash the call button like your life depends on it (it does).
House Beneviento 1F
Back upstairs, work through the hallway until you reach a cutscene. Now, it’s time to play hide-and-seek:
- Head into the Foyer and upstairs where the door to the Guest Room will be unlocked. You’ll find Angie (the bride doll) inside.
- Next, she’ll be on the south side of the Living Room.
- Head through the Foyer back toward the elevator in the north (northeast, really). She’ll be waiting by the elevator doors.
After the stabbing, collect your key from her. Spin it until you get an examine prompt, and then combine it with the Four-Winged Key to create the Four-Winged Unborn Key.
Pick up Angie the doll from the floor.
Collect the Legs Flask by the front door.
Garden
Backtrack toward the Garden area and take the first right you come to.

Smash the crate in the corner for some lei.
At the back of the house, follow the arbor tunnel to some graves and a tree. Circle around to find a box with the Sun and Moon Ball inside.
Deal with the vampires that fall out of the tree, and then look for a birdcage in the tree with some lei.
Smash the crate on your right for some lei.
Turn west and enter the house. Pull the shelves behind you to block the door. Smash the crate for a mine, and pick up the lockpick and W870 TAC shotgun. Use it on the vampires who break in.

Exit the house and head east along the main path. Take the next left to the Gardener’s House.

Before you go inside, head down the left side of the house. Use the well wheel at the well to find the Madalina (head). Combine it with the Madalina (body) to complete the doll.
Continue back and smash the crate for some handgun ammo. Cut to the right and open the outhouse to find a Photo of a Strange Bird.
Examine it to get a better look. The description says:
A photo of a bird
as blue as the sky.
Where was it taken?
If you look closely, you’ll see that it is from the Graveyard area overlooking the shrine where we found the very first Goat of Warding.
Head back to the front and step inside the house.
Labyrinth puzzle
Drop the Sun and Moon Ball into the labyrinth puzzle. The path doesn’t branch and there aren’t any holes. Your job is just to keep the ball moving slowly so it doesn’t fly off the track. Collect the onyx skull when you succeed.
Walk down the left side of the house. Grab the explosive rounds from the ground in the hallway. Step into the back room. Turn left to read the Gardener’s Diary file. Grab the Luthier’s Key from the desk and save at the typewriter.
Suspension Bridge
On your way back to the Altar, you’ll start hearing monsters. There are things to collect along the path now.

As you cross the Suspension Bridge, look at the bridge to your right (south) and below you. Shoot the Goat of Warding.
Potter’s Field

Take the first left onto that dead end that loops back above the main path in Potter’s Field. Smash the crate for some sniper rifle ammo. Look at the nearby headstone for a large crystal.
Take out the vampires. Head to the fork in the path and look up. There’s a birdcage among the bodies. Shoot it down for some lei.
You’ll meet a couple more vampires. Check the headstone on the right (south) of the path for a Vivianite. Check the tree behind it for another birdcage with lei.
Back on the main path, there’s one more birdcage with lei.
Altar
Stop and check in with Duke. Sell off anything you want and buy yourself something nice. Before we continue to the next House, we’ll take a quick detour through town to collect some treasures.
