Resident Evil Village’s “Find Miranda, kill Rose,” “Destroy the giant mold construct,” “Search the underground,” and “Get Rose back from Miranda” objectives will take you back through the Luiza’s House, the Workshop, and Maiden of War areas on your way to the underground and the final Mother Miranda boss fight.

Kill Miranda, save Rose

When you regain control as Chris(!), follow the path left until you come to the village overlook.

A quick note: Chris doesn’t have a map, so we’re going to use our previous maps here and supplement them with screenshots.

After a quick debrief, turn right and head down to the village. Chris’s weapons are infinitely better at dealing with them than anything you’ve had so far.

In town, head to the green smoke signal. Pick up the flash grenades, handgun ammo, and rifle ammo.

Head through the gate (turns out, this Luiza’s House). Deal with the pair of Beasts that show up, and continue down the hill.

Keep following the path. Take a left when you hit a T-intersection. At the next green smoke signal (in the Workshop), grab the rifle ammo, handgun ammo, grenade, and med injector.

Turn around and head downhill again. A tree will pop up in the path. Cut through the house on your left (the first house you entered way back at the beginning).

Shoot your way to the Maiden of War.

Destroy the giant mold construct

Target the snarl of tree-like mold behind the statue with the Target Locator when prompted. After the first hit, you’ll need to fend off a wave of lycans.

Turn around, and look behind you for a supply drop. Use that alley (and exploding barrel) to create a bottleneck.

Once Lobo is reloaded, target the construct again as you move back to the Maiden of War.

Take a left, and look for another supply drop (and another exploding barrel). At the supply drop, turn right to find a ladder. Climb up to the roof and target the mass one more time.

Search the underground

Follow the only path you have into the underground. Watch for the flare to pick a lot more ammo.

You’ll drop into a tiny arena with a huge Guardian swinging a nasty mace. Block as much as you can — blocking will keep you alive. You should have plenty of ammo, so just keep unloading into it.

As soon as Lobo calls, equip the Target Locator and lock onto the giant. It’ll take three solid hits before he goes down. Just remember to keep blocking.

You’ll pick up the Giant Crystal Mace when he falls.

Follow the tunnel down.

The Megamycete

After the cutscene, turn to your right.

In the mist and roots, there is a very hard-to-see statue. This Goat of Warding is at the statue’s feet.

Take the stairs up and follow the tunnel to Miranda’s Lab.

This room is one big U-shape — you’ll enter, work around to the right, and exit the other end of the U. To starts, check the books on the table as you enter for files on Miranda’s children. Check every counter for photos and files. There’re no items to pick up, but there’s a ton of lore in here.

Don’t forget to step into the cage with bookshelves on the right side of the room for one more photo.

When you’re done, break the lock on the gate and head through.

Get Rose back from Miranda

Yes, we already used the spoiler warning image, but it’s the end of the game, so we’re doubling down.

After the cutscenes, you’ll get control again. Walk forward until you trigger another one.

Deal with your existential revelations while you wake up in Duke’s wagon. He’ll drop you off at the Ceremony Site.

Before you set off, cash in everything you can with Duke, buy out his ammo, and purchase any weapon upgrades you want.

Check the wall and crate opposite him for some explosive rounds, sniper rifle ammo, handgun ammo, shotgun ammo, and a first aid med.

Visit the typewriter to the left of Duke to save one final time.

Walk west along the Lone Road. Shoot any zombies that drop along the way.

Miranda boss fight

After a (mildly heartbreaking) cutscene, you’ll face off against Mother Miranda herself.

This isn’t exactly a subtle fight. She’ll rush at you and stab at you with her wings and legs, and then back off for a couple seconds. You have three tasks: block when she attacks, keep moving around to avoid her, and shoot her with everything you’ve got. It’s going to take a lot of bullets to end this fight.

Occasionally, she’ll float up in the air and summon these writhing spheres around her. After a few seconds, they’ll start glowing and fire molten goo at you. Whenever she does this, shoot the spheres — your goal is to destroy them before they start glowing.

Keep running around and pumping bullets into her. Every once in a while, you’ll find a little ammo on the ground. Pick it up as you’re relocating and just keep firing.

Once you deal enough damage, the world will go dark. When this happens, sprint for the nearest candles you see. Put your back to the wall and wait for Miranda to attack — you’ll see her outline in the candlelight. Fire off a couple shots and then block as she comes at you.

She’ll switch back to flying around after a few attacks. This process will repeat until you defeat her.

From then on, it’s all cutscenes. Make sure you stick around for the post-credits scene.
