Sea of Thieves guide: How to find islands, chickens, pigs and snakes

Sea of Thieves has 64 islands, and finding one by name or knowing where to find a chicken, pig or snake can be a slog. We’ve got a list of every island below. With this guide, you’ll be able to find their grid location as well as information about the the animals that live there.

For Order of Souls and Merchant Alliance quests, you’ll have to find an island or outpost by name. And for the Merchant Alliance, you’ll often have to find a specific animal. We’ve done the work for you, so use our table below to cut down on your searching. You can sort the table by each of the columns or use the search field to jump to an island by name.

There’s an element of randomness to Sea of Thieves animal spawning, so there’s a chance that you won’t find the animals on the islands that we list below. However, based on our testing, islands only contain certain animals, so the table below is still useful as a guide. If your island is empty or missing an animal, they probably just didn’t spawn in your current session. Check the list and sail to someplace nearby.

Keep these things in mind as you search:

• There is no island with all three types of animals.
• Nearly every island will have supplies — planks, bananas and cannonballs.
• Gunpowder barrels come up in at least one Merchant Alliance quest, and they’re just useful in general for blowing stuff up, so we’re going to start adding them to the table as we find them.
