Spider-Man: Miles Morales guide: All Time Capsule maps and locations

In Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Miles can collect Time Capsules from his pre-Spider-Man days. Miles and his pal Phin scattered these mementos around the city. You’ll need to track them all down if you want the Urban Explorers Trophy.

Unlike Underground Caches or Miles Morales’ other collectibles, Time Capsules will show you exactly where they are. If you’re having trouble finding one, check out or images below to point you in the right direction.

Financial District Time Capsule locations

Phin and Miles hid two Time Capsules in the Financial District.

Time Capsule 1

This Time Capsule is under the fountain. Look above it and pull the gear and then web it to squeeze underneath. Grab the Time Capsule and move on.

Time Capsule 2

Head up to the roof of the Financial District building and look for the six-part chimney. You’ll find the Time Capsule between them.

Chinatown Time Capsule locations

The two Time Capsules in Chinatown are on the east side.

Time Capsule 1

Look out into the river, toward the Time Capsule icon. Web-zip your way onto the derelict boat to get the I’m On A Boat Trophy and find the Time Capsule.

Time Capsule 2

This Time Capsule is under the bridge. Follow the icon and web-zip up the leg of the bridge to find the Time Capsule.

Greenwich Time Capsule locations

The Greenwich Time Capsule is in the river.

Head out into the river, onto the posts sticking out of the water. You’ll find the Time Capsule on one of the far posts.

Midtown Time Capsule locations

There are three Midtown Time Capsules scattered around the district.

Time Capsule 1

Go to the small park in Midtown. You’ll find a big choo-choo train — a Christmas decoration. Use your pull to move the train and grab the Time Capsule.

Time Capsule 2

Go to Time Square. You’ll find a Time Capsule between two of the giant billboards.

Time Capsule 3

The last Midtown Time Capsule is in a building under construction. There are some cops here, and they’ll kick you out if they find you. You can either zip in and grab the Time Capsule real fast or stealth your way in with Camouflage.

Hell’s Kitchen Time Capsule locations

The Hell’s Kitchen Time Capsules are pretty separated, but there’s only two.

There is a broken area on the side of this building. Web-zip up and interact with the hole to pull out a Time Capsule.

There are some stuffed-up pipes on the side of this building. Pull out the junk and interact with the empty pipe to grab the Time Capsule.

Upper West Side Time Capsule locations

The Upper West Side Time Capsule is in the park.

This is one of the trickier Time Capsules. The icon shows the Time Capsule inside the rock. Circle around until you find a small cave entrance. Approach it and you’ll take to the ground. Crawl inside to grab the Time Capsule.

Central Park Time Capsule locations

Central Park’s only Time Capsule is actually on the side of a building.

On the right side of Central Park you’ll find a weird looking building with a bunch of triangular decorations on the side. The Time Capsule is wedged under one of these decorations.

Upper East Side Time Capsule locations

There are two Time Capsules in the northern part of the Upper East Side district.

This Time Capsule is just sitting out in the open, at the foot of the statue.

This Time Capsule is also out in the open, sitting inside the tree planter, among the roots.

Harlem Time Capsule locations

The only Harlem Time Capsule is in the heart of Miles’ home district.

This Time Capsule is a little tricky. Wait for the train to come by. Jump on top of the train and you’ll find the Time Capsule between two of the cars.
