Fallen Order scomp link guide

From very early on in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, you’ll see chests and doors that require something called a scomp link to open, according to messages like this:

Scomp link must be repaired to operate this device.

In this guide, we’ll tell you where, how, and when to find the scomp link upgrade for BD-1.

How to find and repair the scomp link

First, you’ll have to progress through the story to the Tomb of Eilram on Zeffo. There, you’ll pick up the Force push ability.

• You’ll find the scomp link in the Weathered Monument region of Zeffo. Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
• Look for a trapezoidal door at the top of the hill. Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon
• The door you’re looking for will glow blue, indicating you can Force push it down. Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts via Polygon

Once you have Force push, return to the Weathered Monument. Head to the top of the hill, and look for a trapezoidal door that you can knock down (it’ll glow blue).

Drop into the room on the other side, and work your way around clockwise. There’s a wall to climb on the far side of the room from the entrance. At the top of that wall, you’ll find a workbench. Interact with it to pick up the scomp link upgrade for BD. This will let him slice into locked chests and (some) doors.
