Find every Artifact, Coin, Journal Entry, Trading Card, Safe, and Workbench in Hostile Territory

Polygon’s The Last of Us Part 2 Seattle Day 1 – Hostile Territory collectibles walkthrough begins when Abby and Manny start their trek into the wrecked buildings. It ends when Abby’s flashback begins. There are 12 Artifacts, 1 Coin, 1 Workbench, and 1 Safe to find in Hostile Territory.

Scar’s Suicide Note Artifact location

Hostile Territory Artifact 1 of 12

From the fence where Abby and Manny part ways, advance until you see Tang Fabric & Imports. Turn left before the stairs that lead into the store and hop through a window to find a dead Scar who left a letter recounting his fate at the hands of Wolves and “demons.”

North Dakota Coin location

Hostile Territory Coin 1 of 1

Cut through Tang Fabric then climb on top of the RV outside. Clamber through the window and walk to the end of the hallway. There’s a North Dakota Coin in a drawer on the floor.

Jasmine Bakery Safe Artifact location

Hostile Territory Artifact 3 of 12

Enter Ruby Dragon, the restaurant whose red and white marquee is obscured by ivy, then take the stairs in the back to get to the second floor. After clearing out the clickers, walk to the balcony and hop across to the other side of the street. Enter the room on the left. There, you’ll find a letter from someone named Mei to Bo. It contains the code to a safe 68-96-89.

Strange Relic Artifact location

Hostile Territory Artifact 3 of 12

From the location of the letter, move to the next room and look to your right where you’ll see a desk fan. Next to the fan there’s an egg with engraving on it. Inspecting it will earn you a trophy: “Relic of the Sages.”

Safe location

Hostile Territory Safe 1 of 1

Return to ground level and seek out Jasmine Bakery, which has a boarded up front door. Break a window to enter, then run back behind the counter to find a safe. Enter the code 68-96-89 to find supplements, ammo and crafting materials.

Plea to Seraphite Prophet Artifact location

Hostile Territory Artifact 4 of 12

Take the stairs back up and jump the balcony again, then turn right to take another flight of stairs. On the rooftop patio you’ll find a corpse with a prayer to the Scar prophet pinned to its chest.

Prophet Van Prayers Artifacts location

Hostile Territory Artifact 5-10 of 12

On the prophet van there are six prayers: three on the left, one inside and two on the right. They are named as follows: Seraphite Prayer to Prophet - Peace, Seraphite Prayer to Prophet - Respect, Seraphite Prayer to Prophet - Steed, Seraphite Prayer to Prophet - Pairing, Seraphite Prayer to Prophet - Prosperity, and Prayer for Victory.

WLF Soldier Meets Prophet Artifact location

Hostile Territory Artifact 11 of 12

From the Prophet Van location, enter the store with the green awning to the right. On the counter to your left, find a letter from Sally, who guarded the prophet, to a friend named Cam.

Workbench location

In the Fresnel building, head left from where Abby crawls in to find a Workbench among the Scar craftsmanship.

Letter from Seraphite Father to Son Artifact

Hostile Territory Artifact 12 of 12

From the workbench location, turn around to see a wooden table on your left. Here, find the Letter from Seraphite Father to Son Artifact.
