The Polygon Show 100: Let’s play a Pokemon tabletop RPG

It’s been almost two years — 713 days, give or take — since the Polygon Show became a podcast that you can listen to. Before that, it was just four friends arguing about friends in an office environment. Then, someone had the brilliant idea of putting microphones in front of everyone.

To celebrate the 100th official episode (give or take a few bonus episodes), our four hosts — Simone de Rochefort, Allegra Frank, Ashley Oh, and Chelsea Stark — are joined by producer Ross Miller (hello!) to try their hand at a very light tabletop RPG in the world of Pokemon (with some magical soundtracking and Foley work by our audio engineer Jelani Carter). More casually, we’re calling this the Unofficial Detective Pikachu TV movie spinoff sequel: Let’s go to the beach! The Polygon Show RPG version 0.01b (“light blue”).

The Polygon Show is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher and everywhere else podcasts are found. If you like what you hear, let us know! We also very much appreciate the rating and reviewing us on Apple Podcasts. Sheriff Chansey thanks you!

And don’t forget! If you’re gonna be in Nashville, Tennessee May 31 - June 2, we’re gonna be doing our show and a series of panels as part of PodX. It should be a lot of fun, and we’d love to see you (yes, you)!
