The definitive Alvin and the Chipmunks movie ranking (if you only watch YouTube clip compilations)

Did you know Jason Lee receives top billing in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, despite only appearing in a full-body cast for most of the film?

These horrifying revelations were brought on The Polygon Show by Allegra this week, who mysteriously watched all four live-action Alvin and the Chipmunks movies. Or, rather, the YouTube compilations of their best moments. Chelsea and Allegra also fondly reminisced about Rocko’s Modern Life, inspired by Allegra’s viewing of Static Cling, now on Netflix.

This week, we were also joined by junior entertainment reporter Petrana Radulovic and Polygon intern Palmer Haasch. Petrana gave an impassioned plea for the criminally hated Blue Lions from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, a game we can’t stop talking about. Then she and Palmer gave us the rundown of Ouran HIgh School Host Club, an early 2000s twist on harem anime that still holds up.
