Next week, the CW begins its annual crossover of its primetime superhero series, pairing Supergirl with The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
In the trailer for the first episode of the crossover event, the four teams are faced with taking on one of the most menacing — and extra terrestrial — villains they’ve ever encountered: the Dominators. Although it’s a pretty short trailer, it’s full of treats for the most avid of fans, including a glance at the return of Deathstroke.
The most important thing about the trailer, however, is the first look we’re getting at the Dominators, which the CW announced would be the main force the superhero team would have to reckon with earlier this year. Described by Barry Allen as “World War Z zombies” the Dominators take on a pretty horrific version of sci-fi’s most common character type, ready to wipe out the entire human race.
The first of the four part series will premiere next Monday on Supergirl at 8 p.m. ET. It will be followed by Flash on Tuesday, Arrow on Wednesday and Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday.
