Jessica Jones returns for second season in March

Watch a short tease for the season now

Jessica Jones will return for a second season on March 8, 2018, Netflix confirmed today.

Netflix made the announcement on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube with a short video teasing the season. It can be seen above. The second season will contain 13 episodes. The network also released a synopsis for the season, which can be read below.

New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

The network didn’t address whether Jessica Jones will acknowledge the events of Marvel and Netflix’s major crossover event, The Defenders. The last time we saw Jones on screen, she was having a drink with friend Luke Cage at the end of The Defenders, figuring out what to do next.

The first season of Jessica Jones and all other Marvel/Netflix series can be streamed on Netflix now.
