New Stranger Things season two screens show Will's life after the Upside Down

The first photos from the upcoming second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things have arrived and with it some more clues about what fans should expect.

Most of the attention is on Will Byers, who returned from the Upside Down at the end of the first season. It was revealed in the finale that while Will was back in his Hawkins, Indiana home, he wasn’t the same boy he was before. When he returned to the normal world, he brought back with him a piece of the Upside Down.

In the first teaser for the new season, which confirmed it would premiere this fall, it’s clear that Will is still dealing with the psychological and physiological trauma the experience left him with. The trailer also confirmed that Eleven would return in the new season.

Stranger Things, which has become one of Netflix’s most popular series according to the streaming service, will return on Oct. 31.
