Iron Fist will continue Marvel and Netflix’s crossover tradition as new photos from the show reintroduce characters like Claire Temple and Jeri Hogarth.
Netflix uploaded a batch of new photos from various episodes of Iron Fist’s first season, and Temple, who has appeared in every single Marvel series on the streaming service, has shown up once again. There isn’t too much information about the picture, which can be seen in the gallery below, but it is from the ninth episode.
Temple, a nurse in Marvel’s Netflix Universe, first appeared in Daredevil in 2015. She then treated an injured Luke Cage in an episode of Jessica Jones’ first season before reprising her role as Cage’s friend and sometimes caretaker in last year’s Luke Cage. It’s unclear just how she’ll meet Danny Rand (otherwise known as Iron Fist) in the series, but considering Rand is a martial arts master, it’s safe to assume he’ll probably need some bandaging.
Other photos include Rand standing at a podium, which takes place in the fourth episode, and Colleen Wing, a Japanese martial artist who wants to avenge her father’s death with the help of Rand, according to the comics. Jeri Hogarth, the lawyer from Jessica Jones played by Carrie-Anne Moss, who also appeared in the second season of Daredevil, will also be involved in Iron Fist.
Iron Fist is the fourth series being produced by Marvel and Netflix. It’s the last series that needs to premiere before The Defenders airs later this year. The Defenders will see the union of all four superheroes, much like what The Avengers did for Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye.
Iron Fist will be available to stream in its entirety on March 17.
