Stranger Things season 2 gets first full trailer at San Diego Comic-Con

Can we have this now, please?

Netflix had its biggest presence at San Diego Comic-Con ever this year and brought with it a number of cool things for fans, including a new trailer for Stranger Things’ second season.

Stranger Things has quickly become one of Netflix’s biggest series (according to the network. We can’t confirm that because Netflix doesn’t release numbers for its shows.) and its second season is fast approaching. Those working on the show, including co-creators Matt and Russ Duffer, have been relatively liberal with information about the second season, but the new trailer gives us even more to obsess over before it returns.

According to the Duffers and various actors, the second season is going to be darker than the first one, focusing more on the horror elements the show encompasses. With Will Byers back in Hawkins, and the portal to the Upside Down still open, expect to see a lot more of the monstrous creature we were teased with in the first season.

Stranger Things returns on Oct. 27.
