A new teaser for Netflix and Marvel’s Punisher series has arrived just hours after The Defenders went live on the streaming service.
The Punisher is the next series from Netflix and Marvel slated to be released this fall. The show stars Jon Bernthal — who is reprising the role that he played in Daredevil’s second season — as he makes his way across the country, enacting revenge against those who have wronged him. In the new trailer, the Punisher can be seen confronting some of his most painful memories as he encounters various people from his past.
Earlier this summer, Marvel brought new Punisher footage to San Diego Comic-Con for a Hall H presentation of The Defenders. In that clip, Punisher could be seen traveling to New York City — a destination also seen in the video above — Alabama, and even Juarez, Mexico.
The Punisher still doesn’t have a set premiere date, but it’s been long rumored that the show will be available to watch in November. The Punisher will be Marvel and Netflix’s third show to be released this year following Iron Fist and The Defenders.
