Family Guy is still on the air, believe it or not, and this weekend’s upcoming episode will feel a little different.
Sunday night’s episode marks the first time that Fox Television will run a Family Guy episode without ad breaks. Instead, PlayStation will air two 60-second God of War advertisements at the beginning and end of the episode, according to AdWeek.
“When we evaluate media partner opportunities, we look at three things: the right audience alignment, the right time—proximity to launch—and strength and reach of our distinguished partners,” Asad Qizilbash, vice president of marketing for PlayStation, told AdWeek. “Family Guy checked all the boxes.”
Fox will also include a 10-second bumper for God of War before the first 60-second ad plays.
God of War was first announced at E3 2016. The game follows series protagonist Kratos who embarks on a lengthy pilgrimage and finds himself interacting with new deities — the Norse gods. Kratos will be responsible for more than just himself in God of War, taking on the role of protecting and guiding Atreus, the son of the son of Zeus.
God of War will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 April 20.
